Caught two Chinook salmon when I didn't even know there were Salmon around.

The odd thing is I can hear the clicking noise from the motor when I press the foot petal. Doesn't that mean it's the motor that's not workign properly, not the foot pedal?

I have a Minn Kota 40 PowerDrive and everything seems to work fine when testing it in the garage. But when I'm on the water, the steering would work but the propeller doesn't spin. The only thing I hear is the relay clicking noise. What's weird is once in a while the propeller would sometime spins but when I put it back in the water, it stops. Later in the day when it's nice and warm, everything seems to work fine. Any suggestions or recommendation is appreciated. Thanks.

To me it means more to catch a few fish w/ my Partner than catch a bunch by myself.

Do you guys actually go fishing for carp? When I'm bass fishing those things are very distracting! They jump in the weeds, making all kinds of noise having us think they were big bass around. On those days when the bass don't bite, I kind of want to catch those things just for the heck of it.

Man, I am still waiting to have a day like that. It must have been loads of fun!

I've been in situations where I see boils but wasn't able to get anything to bite. What gives?

It's too pricey to get it mounted. I'm happy with a couple of pictures and the feeling of releasing the big girl.

I hate it when that happens. I had a 5+ lber right at the boat, shook its head and tossed the lure at the boat making a big kla-lank sound. I was heart broken for a week :'(
