  1. Same thing happened to me last Sunday and again yesterday. Breakage was at the reel. Reel and rod guides are fine. I was using Trilene XL 8lb. I'm now looking at the other post. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1222128536 No additional help there. Mine broke off at the middle of the pole after casting. I know because the line was dangling from one of the middle loops. Lost two freaking lures! DARN! Time to get some new line!
  2. What's the most common cause of line snapping? I lost 2 of my favorite lures the other day after a "craccck" tree snapping like sound when casting. Was on some Stren Original 8lb.
  3. Nice Fish! I have a cavitron but haven't caught anything on it yet.
  4. I wonder what's going to be on fire and all itchy the next day :
  5. You have to catch them. I don't know the rules per state about keeping game fish as pets. I'd like to know because I'd keep a bass in my tank if it's allowed just to watch it suck in mice and goldfish. I could breed my own minnows
  6. Pretty neat. They must have very good sight.
  7. Get some Meguiars APC+ to clean that rug out. Looks amazing otherwise!
  8. Didn't work for me yesterday. Sat there for 2 hours without a bite and I left.
  9. What's the most expensive swim bait you can find online?
  10. I had a Pickerel blow up an X-Rap Silver/Gold the other day.
  11. Rapala X-Rap in Gold or Silver. Also the Skitter Pop in Frog. Just got a black Jitterbug so we'll test that for night.
  12. Seems like X-Rap season! I caught 2 on a X-Rap today Nice fish!
  13. The first one was a river on the erie canal. The 2nd one is BURIED in the woods and the only way we found it was by google maps. It's a walk from my house. It's bigger than what's in the picture but NOBODY goes there. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=554+Sand+Creek+Rd,+Albany,+NY+12205&sll=42.7342,-73.825078&sspn=0.009851,0.022745&ie=UTF8&ll=42.735209,-73.827497&spn=0.002463,0.005686&t=h&z=18 The part on the bottom is what's pictured.
