  1. my mistake, I remember talking about it with you, but I wasn't sure if you were serious or ready. I'll shoot you a PM..
  2. I wish they would ban them, would save me tons of money...
  3. When we're talking Ounces, the grams add up. Plus you use less glue. I think they're are a substantial weight savings, in an area that matters most.
  4. The shows on TV help build my skepticism. They set out to create a series based on hunting the supernatural. I've yet to see one piece of convincing evidence that they've caught casper in the act. They feel temp changes, they get flashes, they get invisi touched, heck they even get infrared stuff moving across hallways and such. I want to see casper jump out and say boo, not just think I've felt him slip by. I don't doubt these guys have had the experiences they claim, for all I know they may have caught Casper in the act. I just can't buy into it. Aliens, now thats a good one to ponder over. Ghost Aliens maybe?
  5. Yeah, I've had my HDS in less than 3ft of water and could see from shore to shore in a cove. I'm still amazed, pull in scan it, mark anything of interest and move on or fish it.
  6. I use the curado, it works very well and I find them for $125 +/- on ebay with some watching. If money isn't an issue I'd buy the Zillion. Very nice reels, and I think they palm (for me) better than the other two.
  7. I personally don't believe in ghosts, but a part of me won't completely refute the concept. If I'm ever lucky enough to have an encounter, I want the whole shabang. I want to see something straight out of hells gate. The kind of encounter that would make a grown man pee his pants.
  8. Kid's right on, he's a big athletic guy. I'm sure with some experience he could become better. He excels when he needs to get down field and block up.
  9. Not a setting at all, its native in IE8. I have a 700+ user base that can see it as well, I use the same type of development on our internal web sites and if /when the add-on is improperly removed or disabled, they get the notification.
  10. What I'm talking about doesn't get touched by google toolbar, or any other pop up blocker. It's a native funciton of the browswer I get that on this site and any other test site that requests the pop up. Regardless, hope you get it fixed Raul.
  11. You do, but every browser I've developed for will spam a pop up to the user, requesting the add on be enabled. I didn't see him list that, so I'm assuming he has the problem I posted, which will not give the same pop up. :
  12. Sounds pretty logical. JJ is pretty incredible, so much its kinda boring, to me anyway.
  13. That won't happen with calls like opting for two tires on the last pit stop at Vegas. That was just plain dumb. At a track like Vegas, your a sitting duck as the leader. If Gordon/Letart take 4 those behind him take 2. If JJ holds him off with 2 tires, Gordon's crew looks like they made a bad call. I'm not saying 2 was better or 4 was better, but they had to make a choice and fully expect those behind them to do the direct opposite. I"m no Gordon fan either..
  14. This isn't the same a disabling Javascript, as a whole. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets. I can disable the option I listed above, this site works fine but I replicate his exact error on youtube. If I enable that option, youtube works just fine. This site renders either way.
  15. I can stand JJ or Gordon, to much political correctness going on for me. Saying that.. Johnson/Knaus are probably the most talented duo to ever hit the series. It easily appears that they have some cheat, I really doubt they do they're just that good.
  16. Sharpie on the belly, towards the tail
  17. Java and javascript are two different creatures. Check disk will do nothing at all for the problem above. Select Tools > Internet Options. Click on the Security tab. Click the Custom Level button. Scroll down to the Scripting section. Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets. Click OK. Select YES if a box appears to confirm. Click OK. Close window. Reload page If that still doesn't work go through the wizard here.. http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=57669
  18. My opinion, isn't based around her gender. I can find 10 times as many males drivers that have been major flops as well. She just carries mucho hype...
  19. Stewart and Wallace were teammates? :-?
  20. "Dale Earnhardt was poised to win his first Daytona 500 when a cut right rear tire on the last lap put him out of contention and allowed Derrike Cope to win the 1990 Daytona 500. Derrike was driving the #10 Chevrolet Purolator owned by Bob Whitcomb with crew chief Buddy Parrot" Straight from http://www.derrikecope.com/wcup/90/default.asp
  21. Thats true, except I didn't use Cope as the comparison, that was yours.
  22. Anybody who's followed NASCAR would start with Derek Cope and go from there. Anybody who's followed NASCAR would also now Cope had no where close to the amount of Hype Danica had going in or coming out of that race, it's not even close. Even after Cope's win, I never recall him being dubbed as the next best thing.
  23. Again, it's standard practice in Indy cars given their speed. I've seen far more dangerous drivers running around in cup. I've also seen so called name drivers intentionally running people off the track and doing extremely dangerous, stupid driving moves..... I think the number 3 car comes to mind right off the bat. It may be standard practice, but when I listened to in car, it sounded more like "OMG WHAT DO I DO" instead of a cool calm, drive it straight man, drive it straight. If they had fenders, they'd bump in Indy as well, rubbin is part of the culture of Nascar. See it every week...
  24. Putting Danica in that equipment is going to be a great short term publicity stunt, at best. She's a subpar driver being thrown into superior equipment. I've yet to hear of any cup driver with a single fuel mileage win, be dubbed as the next best thing, years after they've failed to accomplish much of anything else. When a drivers entry into any series is surrounded with so much "hype", don't get upset when people criticize that drivers failures. As RW put it, she's just good filler material that happens to be marketable at the moment. The problem is, she's not very good at getting out of the way. Maybe she can get Robbie Gordon to give her some tips, he's been playing that role for years.
