  11. The last pic looks much better. That's a good use of Photoshop.
  12. Thanks Robert. A few more... A display at a grocery store in Ellensburg (eastern Washington) And over at the Microsoft campus, over 5000 people in a 12th man flag!
  13. Yep, it has a few bugs right now. I'm waiting on the developer to fix it. No ETA yet. Sorry.
  14. The 12th Man is loud, proud, and strong in Seattle! Never in the history of the Seahawks have I ever seen this city so galvanized and united. Sure, the fans were behind the 'Hawks in their last Superbowl appearance in 2006, but nothing compares to this. Nothing. A few examples.... And this one...it's the Expedia building in Bellevue. They took colored paper, taped it to the windows, to create a gigantic Richard Sherman on the side of the building. It’s the “pose” from the final play of the game against the 49’rs. That's just a very small smattering of how Seattle has gone bonkers. Well....not to be outdone, Boeing custom painted a 747....then flew it around.... And flew it around the state ....in this pattern: Impressive you say? Outrageous? Well...it turns out, it was part of a game of one upmanship between the CEO of Boeing and Seahawk owner Paul Allen. Paul Allen's response? "A 747 at 15,000 feet is pretty cool," he said, "but it's no space station at 230 miles above Earth." Advantage: Paul Allen. And yes, it really did happen. An astronaut waving the 12th Man flag in space. How did he manage that? Full story here: http://crosscut.com/2014/01/30/humor/118550/seahawks-12th-man-space-station-super-bowl/
  15. It's no secret that Justin Bieber (yea, him again) is a fool, but like any celebrity with a seven- figure income, there's no real ramifications for anything he does... and so he continues to be a tool. Outside of his inexplicable fan base, everyone else is pretty tired of the fool. Well, here in the states we have one advantage; he is Canadian. In one week, a petition on whitehouse.gov to deport his butt has reached 174,000 signatures. That means that the White House now, legally, has to issue a ruling on the matter. We're pretty sure that the 'Biebs' will be safe, but we like the idea that that many people are asking him to just go the hell away. All of that being said, all of us have done something that resulted in us being asked, or told, to leave. Which brings us to today's questions: WHY WERE YOU ASKED TO LEAVE?
  16. That's odd. We haven't changed our emails either.
  17. They seriously frown on that. In fact, they'll throw you and your buddy out if they find out. This is for industry folks only who have been approved via a screening process. They take that seriously, and have been known to kick out anyone who misrepresents themselves.
  18. A common misconception is to leave the hook in. It was popular belief years ago, but that has since changed. Research has shown that: 1. Hooks do not "dissolve" or "rust" away quickly. It takes years - way too long to be inside an animal. 2. Gut-hooked fish are far less likely to survive than those that have the hook the removed. The key is properly removing the hook. A link was provided earlier to a page that shows how to do this. So if you're still cutting the line and leaving the hook in, you need to stop. That practice is now an old wive's tale. Glenn
  19. Been fishing them that way - including the gliders - since the late '80's here out West.
  20. My opinion is that you're up too late. If you wish to go the scientific route to find "answers" - good luck. Scientists are always challenging the facts. Constantly debating the methodologies, depth of research, and statistical relevance of the "answers", despite mounds of data that all say the same thing. They're never satisfied with the "answers". Instead, they're content with finding what they perceive are "flaws" in the "answers". Have fun with that.
  21. Cliff Pace broke his leg this weekend, effectively eliminating him from this year's Classic. More info.... http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/classic-cliff-pace-12714.html
  22. B.A.S.S. eliminated the WBT under protests that it gave women an unfair advantage for entry to the Classic. However the LBAA is still running as an alternate - although there isn't an automatic entry to the Classic for the champion. Ironically, B.A.S.S. now has the college series, where the champion has an automatic berth to the Classic. I'm not sure why that's acceptable whereas before it wasn't. I mean, it still gives exclusive privileges to a select group of anglers.
