  1. I still have a few bags left of the craws. I like them a lot, but now Yum makes a very good version of the same bait. So...no loss.

  3. And just when you thought a beat horse had been beaten beyond recognition.....
  4. Peel it off, then get a screensaver. They're a film just like the one you peeled off, but they're designed to be semi-permanent and less noticeable. Plus they work fine with touchscreens.
  5. I really hope they fix the parking/traffic problems around the expo this time. Wow...what a mess!
  6. There are some REALLY nice rigs in this thread! I'm liking it. Here's my entry....I have two trucks, a 1999 F-250 XLT V-10. 230,000 miles and still running strong. I also have a 2009 F-450 dually diesel (650 lbs torque), King Ranch edition, fully loaded with all the bells and whistles, air bags w/onboard compressor, torklift stabilizers, torklift superhitch magnum w/3' extension. And yes, the paint scheme matches the boat.
  7. I'm the Sr. Manager of the Organic Search program at T-Mobile. Basically I'm responsible for T-Mobile's presence across the search engines. I also have a little website as a side business.
  8. Woo hoo! Looking forward to meeting you!
  9. What types of techniques and cover/structure are you using the line for? As some have mentioned, it is easier to nick up. So if you're using it in heavy cover or pulling it through rocks and stumps, that may be the issue. For example, I throw spinnerbaits into heavy cover, through branches and weeds, and most stuff people only flip. I tried using fluoro for that, and quickly switched after losing 2 spinnerbaits in 2 days due to breakoffs during the cast. None of those were knot failures. Fluoro, like other types of lines, has a place and purpose; but it's not all-purpose.
  10. Not sure Ronnie. It works fine for me.
  11. Hey folks, if you haven't yet considered joining us for a weekend of fishing, food, and fun, then now is the time! Best of all, it's really inexpensive! From a member who attended last year: Check out the video from last year's trip! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/pickwick-lake-2013.html Seriously, we lose the hold we have on reservations in a few days. If you don't make plans now, there might not be any room for you! Don't wait, do it now! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/127309-youre-invited-to-the-2014-roadtrip/
  12. Courtland. Got it. That's sad, however it opens the door for new opportunities. Mike - yes, I saw Gary's submission from last year. Definitely worthy of framing!
  13. Which paper mill is closing? The one near Pickwick State Park, or a different one?
  14. For anyone on the fence about going, read the above, reread the above, and then read it again. See you there!

  20. If you're going to buy a boat, a trailer, a truck, gas, rods, reels, line, and a tackle box stocked better than your refrigerator... YOU MIGHT AS WELL FISH. Don't let a little rain keep you away!
