There's no question the Seahawks have had a tougher schedule than the Broncos so far, hands down. There's no debating that. Also, the Dolphins have had a tougher schedule, and they're undefeated as well. in fact, the Dolphins beat the Jaguars by a bigger margin than the Broncos, and yet...it seems Denver gets all the accolades simply because they have Manning. I'm not saying Denver isn't a good team. But over-hyped? Yup. If it weren't for Manning, I doubt they'd be getting nearly as much media love.

True. They've had a very soft schedule, and will continue to have one through the first half of the season. And yet everyone wants to crown them superbowl champs already. We'll know how good they really are when they start playing stronger teams later this year.

Yea, Denver dominates weak teams. They've had it pretty easy so far with a soft schedule. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do against good teams later on in the season.

Fact remains, not everyone can qualify for the Classic via this venue. In fact, it's very exclusive because the public cannot enter it. For years, people complained a woman could make it to the Classic via the WBT (Women's Bassmaster Tour). Their reason? It was exclusive to women only. I'm both surprised and disappointed that folks are seemingly ok with the college tournament series sending one person to the Classic, but they were all up in arms when the WBT did the exact same thing....and it was more open to the public than the college series! There were other "reasons" people cited for why a WBT champion shouldn't have been in the Classic. Every single one of those "reasons" could be applied to the college series as well. You can't have it both ways folks. If you were against a WBT champion going to the Classic, then you should be against a college series champion making it too.

Welll.... two things: 1. The Chiefs are a much improved team from last year. They made a lot of roster changes in the off season for the better. Nobody should be surprised they're doing better. Are they a playoff team? Not yet, but they're on their way to becoming one. 2. They've had a very soft schedule so far. The rest of the season is going to be tough for them. I'd be impressed if they end up 8-8 this year.

Just looking back through this thread, and seeing how stunned, confused, and scared you were at the beginning. Now you're on a mission, know what you're doing, have goals set, and know where you're headed. What a big difference! It's one of those things where you don't measure progress by yesterday, but by last month. You're getting there. Right now, it's the short-term stuff when you look at the big picture.
