"Please Release Me" or "Catch & Release"?
Sure-Life unveiled the new formulation for CATCH AND RELEASE® at ICAST last July. The new formula contains two safe, but effective disinfectants/antiseptics to prevent the spread and transmission of deadly pathogens in the livewell. The new formulation also utilizes two compounds to kill quickly spreading and deadly VHS (Viral Hemorragic Septicimia) and LMBV (Largemouth Bass Virus). These compounds are used by professionals and are approved by both WHO (World Health Organization) and the FDA to prevent the transmission and spread of HIV (the human virus that causes AIDS) and VHS (Viral Hemorragic Septicemia). The disinfectant effectively kills both the zebra and quassa mussels at all stages of development. Never before has such an effective formulation been available to the sportfishing public. Anglers can now be proactive by making sure that they are not spreading and transmitting deadly pathogens and certain invasive species in the livewell. The new formula now contains an ammonia remover. Ammoina is a by product of metabolic waste excreted by the fish. We have increased the amount of our chelating agent which removes heavy metals such as: mercury, lead, cadium and pesticides from the fishes bloodstream. The new formula also contains a concentrated protectant that aids in wound healing and helps prevent infections. These new compounds have been added with the all natural sedative that was introduced last year to complete the ONLY livewell formula that prevents the spread of disease, combats stress, stimulates the immune response and addresses water quality issues in a single formulation! We know that anglers will be impressed with the results. The new CATCH AND RELEASE® is a MUST have for the livewell and can be used on Bass, Walleye, Catfish, Crappie and other valuable gamefish. Protect your valuable catch and protect the fisheries by using the new CATCH AND RELEASE® formula year-round. The new formula will be available for distribution in August. Look for US Patent Pending on the label at various retailers. The new CATCH AND RELEASE® formula is replacing the CATCH AND RELEASE® formula introduced last year. PLEASE RELEASE ME will be replaced with the current CATCH AND RELEASE® formula. Both formulas will use the natural sedative.

Need advice on seasonal patterns in Wa.
The seasonal cycles are the same, they just happen at a different time than the south. Usually we're into early pre-spawn this time of year. But it seems we're about a month off temperature-wise this year. When the daytime temps are in the 60's, and the lows in the 40's, we're into pre-spawn. Look for the majority of the bass population to spawn at the end of May through June. Water temps don't climb much higher than the mid-70's during the summer. Hope that helps!

Moses Lake Question
Wish I could help. It's been a long time since I fished it, and I've only fished it in the fall. And April? Man, it's still icy/snow over there, believe it or not. But, if you're going to be there, I'd go to Potholes instead and focus on the Linde Coulee area for smallies.

Bass Boat Starting Problem.....Ideas?
Begin with the simple stuff first - I suspect with a '91 engine, your boat is circa the same year? If so, check that your kill switch is working. A partial or faulty connection (either via a loose wire or loose switch) will cause that problem. Ensure the switch is fully up - by physically checking it (don't just look at it) - before attempting to start the engine. If it works, replace the switch. Then move to the batteries - again, check the connections and wires first, before spending the bucks on new batteries. It could be something as simple as a loose connection. Hope that helps!

fuel stabilizer
I only use it in the fall and winter, when I only fish every 4-8 weeks. Otherwise I'm fishing every week, so I have no need for it.

Re: Great the Allstate ad is running again
Try updating to the latest flash player first. I'd rather address and solve the problem and ban an advertiser because we couldn't figure out a solution. Get the latest flash player here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

3rd Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Wow! I really can't add much to what's already been said. But here goes. Some random thoughts in addition to what's already been said: Hearing about new PB's makes be a proud papa. It's awesome we could have a small part in it, and experience it with you. The lodge, cabins, boat ramps, and facilities were world class! Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful lodge and outstanding service. When the temps dropped, they quickly scrambled and gave us a room to use for the potlucks - for FREE! Also, you guys didn't see the wait staff helping us lay out all the goodies prior to the dinner - even supplying the bags y'all used to carry your stuff back to your rooms. And they even stayed during the presentations, listening intently. My biggest complaint: This was WAY TOO SHORT!! I didn't have nearly enough time to chat with each and every one of you as much as I wanted to. I feel I really missed out. Cool moment: Bob Lusk fishing w/Gene & Keri, chatting on the phone with Ray Scott and Bill Dance. He even MADE Mr. Bass get on the computer while talking to him and got him to log on to BassResource.com so he could explain to him what we were about and what we were doing there! Biggest relief: nothing went wrong. There were no "bad" guides; no rude locals; no breakdowns, mishaps, or injuries; in short, there were no bad experiences. Best wildlife scenery: all the deer at the park! I think they outnumbered the squirrels! Funniest phrases: "Really? I just thought he was some homeless guy!" and "From a human perspective, they're just like twinkies." Thanks to: Alpster, Muddy, Ghoti & Mary, Bob Lusk, and my wife for making this event happen! There's no way it would've been nearly as good without all your help! And a PROFOUND thanks to our sponsors! They brought tons of giveaways and items for the raffle. Our small group of less than 30 people made over $400 for Cast For Kids as a result! Please give a shout out to all who donated: JJ's Magic (and Ol' Nelly spinnerbaits and jigs ) SureLife Laboratories Delos Tackle ExtremeLures.com Triangle Sports KVD Line & Lure conditioner and BTS Protectant Megastrike, Cavitron, and Evolution jigs and shakee heads Please show them your gratitude by doing business with these outstanding companies! And finally, a HUGE thank you to everyone who made it! Keri and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and getting the opportunity to talk with each of you. Here's to '09!

Have you ever been able to tell there is going to be little to no bites?
Yes. Right now there's ice and snow on the ground and I'm sitting in the living room in front of a fire. I can guarantee there won't be any bites today! ;D

B&W TV ???
yup, I recall the B&W days. The old sci-fi's are especially my favs. But then again, I remember most of the 70's shows as B&W because my family was too poor to get a color set. When we finally did get a color set in '78, man was I ever surprised to see the Brady Bunch, Emergency, the Carol Burnett Show, and the Hollywood Squares in color! Oh, and movies? Holy cow - Rudolph, Wizard of Oz, Frosty, etc. - it was like seeing them for the first time again when finally got a color set! LOL

County Fair
