Please read the Senko FAQ. Kinami's are well covered there.
  2. Keep in mind the term "jig" is pretty universal. It could mean anything from a 1/6th ounce finesse jig to a 1-ounce flipping jig. A spinning rod is for the former, a baitcaster for the latter.
  3. Again - Don't Go Backwards! Please see my previous post.
  4. Hoarding? Oh heck, I can easily be accused of that already! I still have plastics from the late 80's that I STILL use today!! LOL I'm trying to use them up, but dangit if new baits somehow show up on the doorstep ever so often! ;D I have enough lures I could open my own tackle store. But man, it sure is fun to catch bass on lures they don't make anymore. I like to "old school" folks during a tournament.
  5. Thanks! I appreciate it!
  6. Hi folks. Got this e-mail today (see below). Unfortunately, I missed those episodes so I'm hoping somebody can help me out here. Thanks!!
  7. I got the pleasure of interviewing one of bass fishing's most popular pros, Ish Monroe at the 2008 Classic. Here is the video. Enjoy!
  8. Still waiting on 2 people to send me their pics/video. So, I haven't begun yet.
  9. You can keep them out for 30 seconds without any harm. I've personally pushed to a minute to a 2 mins, but my internal alarm was going off the whole time. That said, they all fared fine (kept them in the livewell for a short while to be sure), but I wouldn't recommend it. As for 'reviving' them - Do NOT rock them back and forth! You can damage the gills. Water is meant to flow in one direction over the gills, and that's not backwards. Instead, swim him around in a forwards direction gently (I like to do it in a figure 8), while holding his mouth without much pressure. He'll pull away when he's ready.
  10. Sounds like you had a great time! So you'll be at ICAST? If so, I'll see you there! Will you be in the Strike King booth?
  11. Good suggestions!
  12. This is getting off topic now.
  13. Please read the Senko FAQs, as this topic has been discussed in great detail. Links to those threads can be found there.
  14. Dominion Dan - Let's be honest, you can say that about a lot of men in other sports too. I'm not saying it's right, but it happens. You don't have to look any further than NASCAR. But it also happens in the NFL, the NBA, MLB, etc... "give the guys who win the interviews" She won. So now she's getting the interviews and accolades for WINNING! So sorry you don't feel it's deserved. Besides, she's done a lot for the sport - getting many more people interested in it and creating more fans. Just like Jr. did for NASCAR.
  15. Not a clue.
  16. Hear hear preach! Some of the comments here are unwarranted and unnecessary. Not one of those harsh comments would have been said if she was a guy. I'm a little shocked. Not exactly behavior representive of the membership on this site.

Although an interesting thought, I really don't want to get into a discussion about "the big picture" here. Just astonished by the current situation. It's too early to call it a "trend" as of yet. I'm up in the Seattle area.
  18. Genmar knows how to build 'em. Great boat, terrific ride. You'll love it!
  19. Nice boat! Very clean looking. For the seats, consol, etc. use Bow To Stern. I just started using it on my boat, and WOW!! It made it look brand new! It's not greasy either, so the seats won't be "slick" after applying.
  20. I suspect the float in the tank. It's probably gunked up from years of use. Suggest replacing it, then using an additive (seafoam or Ring Free) religiously in your tank moving forward.
  21. Is it a brand new trolling motor, or is it used? If used, how old is it? I ask because newer models are much more effecient than older models. Thus, you can get more out of them from a single charge.

You don't understand - there's never been snow this late in the year in over 100 years! It's normally around 60 degrees this time of year, but this is more like February. Had lots of hail and snow spitting off and on throughout the today. Some areas had a few inches of accumulation, and there were even scattered power outages. It's 32 degrees right now and more snow is expected tomorrow through Monday. Sheesh!

I got rid of it from the threads due to the needless, endless, trivial emphasis that people continue to place upon it. From people striving to "get to the next level" to those accusing others of "post padding", in addition to those boasting about reaching a milestone..... Post counts mean nothing - they have no bearing whatsoever on the quality of the posts nor the quality of the person. And to fight and bicker over it? C'mon!! Ya, I've had enough, if you can't tell. So I removed it.
  24. This has turned into nothing more than an "I'm right and you're wrong" argument, which has no merit or value to these forums.
