  1. I actually throw really light cranks with my curado 101, you can set it to fit your needs. Just practice, and you will have it down in no time.
  2. Today I foul hooked a 45 lb. carp. Now I wasnt fishing for carp, it just happened. And let me tell you my equipment held up like a dream. I use a Diawa Zillion hsla 7:1 and Light and Tough heavy action rod. Also I was using 12lb P line Halo. I fought this fish for a good 10 mins. DIAWA ROCKS.. 8-)

  6. Ya, I also was on the Tackle Warehouse site and I must say that the Ike rod looks pretty impressive. By the way I ordered the 7'2" model. Now I just sit and wait.....
  7. I actually have a sol and I would have never thought of using it for cranks. I might give it a try...

  9. I've been throwing crankbaits for a couple of years now, with some success. I'm looking into buying a new reel specifically for cranking. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a reel that you would reccomend for deep diving cranks??? :-/
  10. Great advise! I also just started to throw cranks this past year, and I have had some success. But I do have one question, What kind of reel would you guys recommend for deep diving cranks?? :-?
