  1. i agree its one of my go to baits lately, i usually t-rig it with a 3/16 weight though.
  2. its "supposed" to be 80 out so we will see
  3. my moms uncle still uses them, granted he perch fishes and doesnt do it seriously. He uses the "nicer" kind, but fishes ALL the time (lives on lake) and uses a spincaster everytime lol.
  4. im confused about all of this stuff. I cant go fishing for bass even if im catching and releasing till april 25? Or can i just be fishing for "pike" and if a bass happens to eat my bait i just release it? Im just alittle confused b/c the dnr handbook is alittle confusing. i want to go fishing for bass this weekend but i dont know if i can.
  5. Being as im done fishing for the year as deer hunting is about to start this week. Whats the best way to store your rods? Ive read that you are not suppose to store them horizontally, but is that really that much of a concern? The easiest place for me would be under my bed so just wondering if that would/could be bad for them?
  6. i got a older bps extreme rod off ebay for cheap and was wondering if its any good? its the older ones with the HM54 blanks.
  7. does everyone have better luck with a weight or without one? I normally fish 7 inch powerworm motor oil with a weight.
  8. i have an old 7.5 hp on my 14 ft. vhull
  9. for 300 they will all be really nice. As for answers your going to get everyones favorites.
  10. i use cx on my spinning reel and big game on my casting.
  11. just dont keep them if you want fish just catch some gills taste better to.
  12. I have a 14 ft. v hull and have a 36lb thrust transom trolling motor. I want to be able to control the tm but also want the front. So im thinking about rotating the head, and putting it on the bow of the boat. Has anyone done this? Does it work good? The only thing i dont know about is switching seats after i run my 7.5 hp motor with whom ever im fishing with.
  13. I have one spinning setup and one baitcasting set up. On my spinning i have 6 pound stern mono. on my baitcaster i have 15 pound big game. What would you personally put on those 2 setups.
