  1. Sounds good. Looking forward to them
  2. I'm surprised as well. I don't see the purpose of it continuing at this point.

The scale effect on the last one looks perfect Z
  4. http://www.ragetail.com/news/tag/rage-toad-rigging/ Here it is. Click on which bait under the selection, then click rigging under tags for that bait.
  5. Im pretty sure these are supposed to be their premium rods. Whether they will be or not is to be decided after release. That's what I was thinking as well, I think this is premium for them as of right now.
  6. I'm not much on Abu Garcia's rods, but this one looks good. I would like to hear more about it once they start getting them in people's hands though. The previews on TT. The fact that they designed it with an adjustable handle seemed interesting. They're pricing it around $130-$140. Like I said, can't real get a good enough opinion on it until they give out some more info. after the field tests.
  7. I think he found someone. Post some of your work once you use it
  8. I've had great success using them at night lately, T-Rigged in shallow water
  9. Previously M and M Fishing
  10. Skeeter, Nice work, looks real professional. I like the punch skirt especially.
  11. Must have been the line used, I never had this happen when I had the megaforce. It was decent for a cheap reel, but I never saw a purpose for the twitching bar. Good to hear it worked out well.
  12. Looks good, especially for them to be your first ones.
  13. Some nice hawgs! Keep posting trips like this Big O, there's not that many big ones down here.
  14. I don't see this happening Glenn. The thread started as a question on how it's affecting tourism and look where it is now. Might be easier on you just to lock it at this point.
  15. GMAN is right, oil based only. Scent is extremely cheap for a bottle, check out a few Plastic Pouring Store Sites. Before you begin to pour, put your scent in, then mix it. Also, some people like to add a few drops to the bag as well, then you shouldn't have to add worm oil.
  16. No problem BJ, it's all good. Something along the lines of a metal insert such as the one used on Bears Hollow Swimbait could possibly work Zach.
  17. Great story, better than Shakespeare. We'll keep the little guy in our prayers
  18. x3, both, presentation/conditions decides which one.
  19. Looks like the MLT Rat. Let us know how these work, I haven't heard many reviews on them. I really like the price as well for a bait like this.
  20. Styrofoam's melting point is around 250 degrees. Either way, common sense should have told you that it wouldn't have held up Zach, how's the action? The leg design from that mold is real unique compared to others.
  21. Too much to take the time to count :-X
  22. Not sure if that would work. The plastic is poured typically around 350 degrees, really could affect the styrofoam. Nice work Zach, especially adding the eyes.
  23. Hardbaits are typically moving through the water quite quickly and wobble during the retrieve. Then you throw in factors such as water clarity on top of that. An extremely detailed bait isn't going to make much of a difference in most situations. I honestly believe it's all about confidence. When I tie on a bait painted to match the forage in the water I'm fishing, I do it for myself more than the fish. Several anglers tell me the success they had with the custom paints, but I just think they fished better and had their line in the water more with them. LILWVBASSER, check out our tacklemaking section: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?board=Tacklemaking
  24. There was a thread like this a while back on TU. I haven't been able to get out in the shop as much recently and want to see what some of you have been working on lately. Anything related to tacklemaking is welcome. I'm working on incorporating some handpainting techniques into my repaints and will post once they're cleared.
  25. I custom paint baits myself as well. I honestly doubt they play much of a role in getting a fish to bite. One thing they have given me and others is an incredible amount of confidence.
