  1. I have grown an insane amount of loyalty to Daiwa. Lures companies, not so much as I use a variety as most others do. I do get enjoyment out of buying LCs, but that's more of an addiction
  2. Has anyone tried this for cleaning your airbrush every so often? Would it eventually start eating away at the brush like windex?
  3. I thought a couple years ago they said it stood for "Deadly On Anything". During summer, saltwater moves up our river systems, bringing shrimp with it. Quite a few of the club tourneys have been won on their shrimp during this time. It's pretty nice to catch a bass on one cast, then hook into a red or trout the very next.
  4. Now it's affecting us, our seafood industry will take a beating from this: http://www.sunherald.com/2010/06/02/2226433/dmr-tells-fishermen-to-dump-catches.html
  5. 3/4oz & 3" if I'm not mistaken
  6. That is some clean work CCP. No doubt one of the best black crappie patterns I've seen so far.

    Those wake baits are tempting
  8. Fedex dropped off my Iwata Eclipse this past Saturday. I had a chance to use it this evening and all I can say is wow. I will never buy any other brand of airbrush. I'm shooting Createx and AutoAir at the moment. I want to be sure I the airbrush doesn't get any buildup on the inside. What's everyone doing as far as cleaning goes? As of now I am shooting hot water through it, then backwashing the brush with hot water as well. BTW, I'm trying to improve the threadfin shad pattern I used to paint and will have pictures up hopefully next week once they're finished.
  9. I haven't really hit any Memorial Day sales this year. I did buy an Iwata Eclipse that came in the mail Saturday. Only fishing purchase was 15 LC RC 1.5s I just ordered.
  10. I'm down in Biloxi and it hasn't reached us yet. Some people say they can smell it, but I think it's all in their heads right now. I'm sure it has hit some parts of Lousiana though. I haven't heard much of it affecting tourism yet, we still have our casinos either way. News said this morning that BP most likely won't even have it capped off by August :
  11. I was looking at these on TW and wanted to see some of your experiences with them. Nice looking bait, but wanted to hear some reviews before I ordered a few.
  12. Some nice pigs as usual Big O. Keep them coming
  13. I can't find one I don't like. Nice work, keep em coming
  14. The Red Eye Craw is incredible.
  15. Good find. The bass is huge, but it seems like it has a larger than normal mouth for one its size
  16. I love fishing ultralight. Nice fish and story
  17. I was wanting to try some of this a while back but never got around to it. I also had read it was somewhat soft after curing and not that durable. I plan on ordering some to see for myself though and will post a review for it once I get a chance.
  18. I just read the review on TT. Nice looking reel, but cost $130 more than an original Zillion. The main differences are the weight (it's only .1 ounce lighter), gear ratio, and the carbon swept handle. Like I said its a great looking reel, but I may wait to get one once the prce falls some. What are your opinions on it?
  19. Topwater- Jitterbug Bottom- RT Anaconda Seems like that combo is all they want now
  20. I bought an Itunes Gift Card for someone as a graduation present. The back had not been scratched off to show the redemtion code yet. But whenever he tried to use it, it said the code on the card had already been activated by someone else. Is there a way to get a refund for this? I don't see how I could, you can't exactly prove that you didn't activate yourself.
  21. This is great advice. You save a ton of $ by buying larger amounts. I'm not sure which brand you're using. But heres a couple examples: BBCP Plastic: 4 Quarts are $66 1 Gallon is $32.50 Calhoun Plastic: 4 Quarts are $58 1 Gallon is $29.50 If you really wanted to cut the cost, places will sell 5 gallons. BBCP Plastic: 20 Quarts would end up being $330 5 Gallons is only $118.50 Calhoun Plastic: 20 Quarts would be $290 5 Gallons is only $110
  22. This seems like it would work best.
  23. Those look good. Will be ordering some shortly.
  24. I agree, especially the splatterback on the first one. Nice work Marty
