I don't fish Strike King hardbaits for that reason, poor quality. My main issue was every single one I bought had to be tuned. 90% of my crankbait fishing is done using Lucky Craft or Xcalibur now.

Anyone know when they plan to release these? I would really like to get my hands on a few of them.

There's a few different brands out there. Bears Baits has Calhoun for $29.50 per gallon, and a couple of other brands of plastic.

That's not a bait you see everyday. Collectors will pay big money for a crank like that. A Bagley crank sold for $888 on there a couple months ago.

I don't recommend U-POL Clear, I ordered a can and shot it on a repaint this past weekend. It sprayed on well and dried very quickly. It really made the pearls show unlike some clears I've used. The durability ruins it though. It was easily scratched, and the paint peeled away. So I really doubt it would be able to perform under fishing conditions. Try out the Trondak U-40, hopefully it works well.
