Les was on there? Was that the guy Erin Andrews was talking to? I would have never known. lol, is it just me or is she getting hotter? It's not just you, she is getting hotter ;D
  2. I give it less than 4 hours... ;D
  3. Sorry you didn't do too well. You might want to pre fish for the next one and maybe you'll do better. Theres always something new you'll learn when bass fishing
  4. If none if this works, I would start night fishing
  5. H2O's, they are just like LCs in my opinion and I have an Academy down the road to get them. Nearest BPS is in AL :-/
  6. Yeah, they have been threatening us a lot lately. They're supposed to be testing another long range missile around the fourth of July.
  7. Am I reading that right? x2, I had to go back and see if I read it right
  8. I have found just about all my fish in shallow water (0-10 feet). Read this article if you want a little more info.- http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/nightfishing1.html
  9. Nice fish. Glad to hear you guys had a good time. I took my dad fishing for Father's Day also, he hooked into one that would have been a new personal best. But after a long fight, it came off. :'(
  10. Check out the fishing articles on this site. You can easily find an article specifically for each that your looking for. For fishing from the bank, I like using a T-rigged plastic the most. Also, you will want to try a wacky rigged senko. RW made a great post for catching some bass with a senko. Here it is: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137 Good Luck!
  11. Your welcome. Those toads are some great baits, the Florida bass should like them.
  12. Only .2" of rain in the past month. It's 99 with a heat index of 108. With these temperatures and lack of rain, all the grass around here is pretty much dead. And the water temp is 88, the bass must be sweating.
  13. Ok guys, I was watching one of Hank Parker's shows a long time ago when he was fishing with plastic lizards only. I remember him saying that he was fishing with a friend, one was using a lizard and the other a worm. Both were t-rigged. The lizard was outfishing the worm 3 to 1. When Hank switched to the lizard also, he started catching them just like his friend. Hank said it's because the lizard has more action because of its legs and tail compared to the worm. Anyone prefer fishing lizards over worms? Or had a time where the fish would take a lizard only?
  14. Deep around here is 15'-25'. I like finding deep structure and working it with a crankbait or jig.
  15. Their great. I like that the rage tail line of baits has coffee scent also
  16. THANKS LC!!! I'm about to stock up. That bait monkey loves sales ;D
  17. x2, I have the BBZ-1 Shad and Sebile Magic Swimmer and haven't gotten a single fish. I was expecting better results too because the action on them is so realistic
  18. Usually when it's hot, I head for deeper water. But since your fishing docks, I would go with a jig/pig combo.
  19. The horny toad....one of my favorite baits. I don't have trouble with it rolling over, I use Zoom's 5/0 hooks for them though. Make sure the hook goes through the toad so that it lies on the back. And for setting the hook, make sure you have a rod with some backbone to get a good hook set. When the fish explodes on the bait, I wait until I can feel the fish on the other end to set the hook. This has helped my hook up percentage greatly.
  20. When it gets that hot, I like going out late at night with a black jitterbug and a 10" black plastic worm. I have caught most of my biggest bass at night. They larger fish get more active at night since it's so hot during the day. 8-)
  21. Don't know, they say this season should be "average". But they have been completely wrong with their predictions before. : We've been setting record highs already this summer. Last thing I want is the A/C to be out for a couple of weeks when the heat index is 110+ because of a hurricane.
  22. Great game! Can't wait for game 2
