I love cheerleaders.
That actually was really good. Like someone else said, I kept waiting for a big screw up, but it never came. I can't jump a rope for than about 5 seconds without inflicting some serious bodily harm to myself

Sleepwalking doggie style.
I love when they do that. I always wonder, what are they dreaming about when that happens?

Twitter defined
Haha thanks for that. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Twitter is ridiculous

MS FrontPage Help (browser compatibility issue)
Thanks a lot, that did the trick. I don't write any code, I just use the WYSIWYG side of Frontpage, so I never even thought to check the code.

MS FrontPage Help (browser compatibility issue)
the website is www.hlvirtualtours.com The specific forms I am talking about are located at: www.hlvirtualtours.com/order.htm www.hlvirtualtours.com/opt_out.htm When you fill out the forms on using Internet Explorer, then press submit, you will get a basic confirmation page, and I get an e-mail with the form information. However, when you fill out the form on a Mac, a couple problems appear: 1) All the forms require input, so if you miss a field and hit "submit" the browser prompts you to enter something into that field, but then still goes ahead to the confirmation page, even though the form information never gets submitted. 2) There are separate confirmation pages for the different forms, since they are for two different things, but the "Opt Out" form routes back to the "Order" confirmation page, and also doesn't ever actually submit the information.

Going to France (advice?)
Try your hardest not to dress like an American tourist. By that I mean, pack something other than hoodies, blue jeans, sneakers, and for God's sake no blue jean shorts.

MS FrontPage Help (browser compatibility issue)
For anybody who is semi-experienced with Microsoft FrontPage for web design, I'm having an issue. My business website has a couple of forms on it, designed using MS FrontPage. The forms work just fine when using Internet Explorer, but not at all when using a Mac browser (including iPhones). The form displays and is formatted properly, but the "submit" buttons don't work. Any ideas?

What were your most scary points in life...
I should have been scared when I had kidney surgery, but I was only 4 at the time so I didn't really understand the significance of it at the time. Other than that: My dad had a complication during gall bladder removal--he lost 4 out of 5 quarts of blood before they figured it out. Moving from Shreveport, LA to Austin, TX, then moving from Austin to Chicago. The day I dropped out of college and my parents (rightly so) stopped all monetary support.

Da Bears? Da Trade?
Would you work for someone who lied to you? Sure, the NFL is a business and people get traded all the time, but... If McDaniels came to Cutler and said "Look, I know you're a pro-bowl QB, but I've got a system I want to put in place here, and I don't think you'd fit in, so I'm going to bring someone else in," there wouldn't be a problem. But to wake up in the morning and see on the news that you almost lost your job, that's pretty upsetting. It's like that feeling you get when someone tells you your wife is cheating. You wonder "how many people knew about this before I did..."

iPhone 3G
I haven't been particularly impressed with my at&t coverage here in chicago, but then again, my girlfriend has verizon and hers isn't any more impressive. The only thing I don't like is that she gets coverage in the subway, but I get nothing while on the underground parts of the train.

iPhone 3G
Well I'm in the middle of an AT&T contract right now, so I'm stuck with them. Also, the iPhone will play the media that I create and sell for my business, so I'm viewing it more as a marketing tool than as a phone. Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going to go get one today, but I may wait and order a refurb online, because they're about 100 bucks cheaper.

iPhone 3G
Anybody use the new iPhone 3G? I just realized that I can get one for only $4/month more on my plan than I am paying now, and I have been in need of a good smartphone, so I'm thinking about getting one. If you do have one, what do you think about it? Is it as good for business purposes as a Blackberry, or is it more for playing around with?

The Cracker Challenge
Try it that way and yes it counts. You will see that eating them all together makes it worse. That's the way that I have always heard the challenge. Because if you eat them one at a time, your saliva production has a chance to catch up, and it isn't nearly as difficult.

Thought for the day
How about: If you aren't part of the solution, then get rich by prolonging the problem.

impossible to title
Hey, I'm left handed, and let me tell you, I get discriminated against all the time! Do you know how hard it is to buy a good set of left handed golf clubs?!?!? I kid, you make a very good point, one that I try to make all the time.

How to negotiate at a dealership?
How about any tips for selling a car? By tips, I mean the entire process, I've never done it before, and I just listed my car for sale today. Do I have to pay any sales tax, how do I get a bill of sale, etc...?

LSU Fans
We just aren't really basketball people in Louisiana. It's a football state. That being said, yes our basketball team at LSU is generally pretty embarrassing, so that might be why we're football people...

How to negotiate at a dealership?
You can guarantee you will be asked: "What kind of monthly payment do you want?" When they ask you that, DO NOT ANSWER. A dealer has a lot of tricks available to get you that payment, but you'll end up on a 15 year loan or something crazy like that.

Anyone into lacrosse?
I love lacrosse. I played with a small club in college and had a blast. My ankles were too weak to play soccer anymore, and lacrosse offered me much of the same excitement. I know what you mean about hitting people. When I was playing soccer, I played the position responsible for controlling the center of the defensive half of the field. I used any excuse possible to crack anyone I could. God I miss that

NCAA picks
Pitt, Memphis, Louisville, and Oklahoma in the Final Four. Louisville vs. Oklahoma in the final, with (as painful as it is to say for this longhorn) Oklahoma winning. I do hope I'm wrong though ;D ;D

Automated bathroom fixtures
Automated sinks and toilets don't really bother me. I used to go into public restrooms and no one would ever flush, so every toilet I went to was disgusting. Now, though, at least all the toilets stay flushed. However, there is one bit of bathroom automation that I don't like. At O'Hare Airport, the toilets have an automated thing that forces you to use one of those little plastic seat covers. Those seat covers are so unnecessary. The bacteria on a toilet seat is nothing compared to the bacteria on your own face.

Sorry, I just assumed that was the one. Yes, I would like to check it out.

I think it's because there was already a thread about AIG, which already got closed for political reasons.

Are you in enough sahpe if
This reminds me of a great blonde joke: A brunette, a redhead, and a blonde were stranded on an island 15 miles from shore. The brunette decided to make a swim for it. She made it 4 miles before drowning. Next, the redhead gave it a try. She did a little better, making it 6 miles before drowning. Finally, all alone, the blonde decided to try the swim. She made it 10 miles, decided it was too far, so she turned around and swam back.

have you guys seen this?
The link doesn't exactly work for me, but I'm guessing you're talking about the Google Street View? I love that feature, I use it every day. I was living in Austin at the time they were taking the pictures there (early 2008), and the newspaper ran a series on it for a while. They would interview people who were photographed and such, it was really cool.
