"Pool our Money"
We could probably buy a couple of the Illinois seats in Congress. Imagine all the pro-fishing legislation we could enact!

T.O. cut by the Cowboys
I agree. Compared to the trouble that so many other athletes are getting themselves into, we should be praising T.O. And he will be playing next year. He's one of the best 10 receivers playing today, even if he has lost a step or two. Heck, just look at Manny Ramirez for a perfect example. Everyone in baseball hates him, but they love his batting production.

ICE STILL ON LAKE>>> UNDERARM DEODORANT QUESTION
Does anyone have problems with excessive palm sweating? It's not a nervous condition or anything, my palms just stay clammy and moist. It's really embarrassing in business when you have to shake a lot of hands, and it also makes golf difficult--I use 4-5 gloves a round, and they're all still soaked by the time I finish. Anyone know of any answers for this?

where do you work?
Update: I have now acquired my first client and made the first three sales of my business! I don't want to celebrate until the money is in hand, but... Woohoo!!!

What brand computer?
I would also go with Dell. I've always had Dells, and always used them at work, with really no complaints. And the customer service is good; they're out of Austin, Texas, and I'm pretty sure that is where their call center is. I know quite a few people who worked there.

T.O. cut by the Cowboys
Well, T.O. is gone from Dallas. So now there are two questions to ask: 1) Where will he end up? True, he can be bad for team chemistry, but he is too good of a playmaker to not play another season or two. My money is on the Saints (because they are a pass oriented team with a very good QB) or the Bears (because they have nothing at the WR spot). 2) The other question is about Dallas' timing on this. Because he's still under contract, they won't be clearing any cap space with the move. So I'm thinking there has to be a deal in the works with Boldin, Harrison, or one of the other big name free agent receivers out there. Otherwise, I can't imagine Jerry letting him go.

BOATING SAFETY Rescue Recovery.
I heard a reporter say that the searchers do use infrared and heat-sensing imaging to search for people lost at see. But even with all the technology that they use, something like 75% of those people who are found are spotted by guy with a pair of binoculars

Values for used firearms
Why do you say that, just out of curiosity? I probably will keep it, I've just had an itching for a bigger gun lately... You knows, us guys and our toys. Always trying to trade up.

ICE STILL ON LAKE>>> UNDERARM DEODORANT QUESTION
Degree anti-perspirant. I have to use an anti-perspirant, rather than just a deodorant, otherwise I will sweat through my shirt in about 30 minutes.

Values for used firearms
I have a Rossi .22 rifle that I've had since I was a kid. Probably about 10-12 years old. I want to sell it to get some money to put towards a decent 12 gauge, but if it's not worth enough to sell, then I'll just hang on to it.

Values for used firearms
I know there have to be at least a few of you guys who are pretty active firearms traders, so this is as good a place as any to ask: When you are selling or buying a firearm, how do you determine it's market value? I did a google search and found "Blue Book of Firearms" but you have to pay for that. Are there any free resources out there?

There are few things I hate more than a thief
I know the feeling. When I was 17 I saved for months to buy a nice sound system for my car. I had it for no more than 2 weeks before some **** stole it. Seriously, that is one of the first things that you learn as a child: you do not touch other people's stuff. It leaves you feeling really violated.

I am a Dapper Dan man! and just about anything else from O Brother Where Art Thou. I just watched that yesterday and forgot how well that movie is written.

where do you work?
Haha yeah I can't believe I forgot that part. Every day: Baby: "When are you going to get a job." Me: "Baby, I've got a job." Baby: "No, I mean a real one." Something tells me she doesn't have much faith in my project...

where do you work?
I'm currently unemployed in my industry, real estate management. I enjoy most parts of the business. I get to meet a ton of people, and 90% of what I do is just making friends and conversation, something perfect for me because I can't ever keep my mouth shut anyway. There are parts of the business that I don't like. Every now and then you have a tenant who falls on hard times and you have to evict. I have seen and done some things that have broken my heart. After I go back to school and finish my degree I want to reenter this business to prove to people that it is possible to be a good person AND a landlord. Right now though, I am working on getting a business off the ground. It's a company that takes pictures of homes and make virtual tours for real estate agents. I did this before about 3 years ago and really loved it. Good pay, lot's of freedom, no set schedule, and no boss.

The Celebrity Apprentice
I haven't seen it yet, but I don't get the concept. I mean, isn't the point of The Apprentice for some crazy, unemployable MBA to get a job with Trump? Are you telling me Trump is really going to hire Dennis Rodman if he wins?

Lets Brag on Your State
Yeah, but at least the Illini got to share a field with LSU in the 2002 Sugar Bowl. It is one of the highest honors for LSU to trounce you in a bowl game ;D ;D ;D

Lets Brag on Your State
A couple more for my home state, Louisiana: Shreveport, LA was the last capital of the Confederacy, holding out for more than 3 months after Lee surrendered at Appomatox. The Union tried several times to capture the city by naval attack via the Red River, but never succeeded. Shreveport is also the home to blues legend Huey "Leadbelly" Ledbetter. Politicians and governments across world can only hope to have the same level of political corruption that exists in Louisiana (what, is that not something to brag about? ;D )

Lawyer Jokes
There once was a big-rig driver who found a great way to keep himself entertained on long drives. Whenever he saw a lawyer walking on the side of the road, he would swerve over and run him over. One day, he saw a priest hitchhiking, so he picked him up. Then, about two miles later, he saw a lawyer walking down the road. His old habit kicked in, so he started to veer towards the lawyer, then remembered that the priest was with him, so he couldn't do it, so he swerved back onto the road at the last minute. His heart sank though when he still heard and felt the telltale "thump" He turned to the priest and said "I'm sorry Father, I don't know what came over me." The priest replied, "That's OK son, I got him with the door."

RIP Paul Harvey
That is sad. I listened to him a lot riding in Dad's car as a kid.

From 3:10 to Yuma "You know, squeezing that watch isn't going to stop time" Jack Nicholson in The Departed "No one gives it to you, you have to take it" And while it's not a movie, each episode of Entourage is just a compilation of great one-liners

A brief history of math
I would argue that making kids do all those steps is beneficial to their math skills. When I was in middle school, just beginning algebra, I was having a terrible time with it. My mom was confused by this, because I have always been a very bright kid. So she watched me do some problems, and come to find out, I was being lazy and skipping steps (things that our teacher advocated). Mom forced me to do the problems in a longer form, writing down every step. Sure it may take me 30 seconds longer and I'll use a lot more paper, but I haven't missed many math problems since. Perfect 36 on the math section of the ACT. In life, there are plenty of things that you can take the short way on, but math problems are not one of them. Alas, it's been a few years since I took a math class, and now I'm as bound to my calculator as the next person.
