  1. Nice job. I hope to catch a 7 pounder someday.
  2. What I do is throw it out there near cover and let it fall. I do not twitch the rod at all or reel it in. I just watch the line and if there is a bass near by it will hit it and run, then I set the hook. I rig all mine weightless t-rig. I know you are fishing from the shore, But look or ask someone with a depth finder where there are drop offs to. Hope this helps.
  3. Got out today and caught 8 Bass in all. Here is a couple of pictures. One is 4lbs 3oz (nice hawg) and the other is 1lbs 11oz (not bad either). Hope everyone has a good weekend fishing.
  4. Any big ones? Smallies or Largemouth? Any pictures?
  5. Like this one I caught today I thought for sure it was 2lbs, But I was wrong only weighted 1lbs 8oz. It was a good fight for a small fish though. Ended up catching three bass, one pickerel, and a good size perch.
  6. I agree, But they always seem to look bigger then then are. There was a time last year I was for sure it was at least a six pounder and come to find it only weighted four :-?. Still a great catch SNHUofBass. I have yet to catch one out of Robinson that big :-/ , So whatever you used worked better then what I am using.
  7. I think I would be Nutts to fish it as the boat launch is right at the ball field and people block it during games.
  8. Nice fish. Well at least I know there are fish over 1 lbs in there. Did you catch it from the launch area?
  9. Went to Potanipo pond today and caught 3 Bass and a Black crappie. Here is a picture of the 2lbs 2oz I caught it was the biggest of the three.
  10. Got out today again and caught 7 Bass. Biggest was 1lbs 11oz it was a good day all and all. Sorry no pictures today.
  11. Hope you get well soon so you can get out there and fish. The bass are waiting to hit those Jigs.
  12. Has anyone been there? If you have how is the fishing? How is the boat launch? What street is it on also? I have the clarks book but it does not have the street it is on?
  13. I have doing really well at Robinson, Nashua river, Horseshoe (Merrimack) & Mill. Wind is tough to fish in But they are catchable.

  19. 2lbs pickerel nice. Here is a picture of the hook. They had them at Walmart for four bucks a pack of 5.
  20. Tom, Have you tried the Gamakatsu skip gap hooks? I used them last night and they worked real nice. No more slipping down the hook on the Senko. Good luck today if you head out. Derek
  21. Nice one. I may take my boys out tommorow after baseball. Are you taken the family out tommorow?
  22. Had a great day out at the pond today. I went out after the rain. I caught 7 in all. All Bass to. ;D Most were right a 1lbs, But I did catch a 3lbs 15oz female on a Senko. I also used a Jig. I did lose one big hawg (line broke). I would say it was at least 5+, But it don't count because I did not touch it. LOL. Here are a couple of picture of the bigger ones.
