On the Jig with a trailer. I caught it by the canal (where the big tree is). I threw it out there let it sit for about 10 seconds gave it a jiggle and he tapped it twice then ran off and I set the hook. There was a guy fishing from the shore who thought I was caught on the bottom I said the bottom don't pull like this ;D. What a fight. He actually moved my inflatable around . There was another guy another out there who caught a 4 pounder in the middle on a Blue gill. The pond was busy last night, But I was glad I was there.

Decided to hit Mill Pond again at 5:30pm and here is what I caught. 5lbs 1oz Butter ball 8-). I also caught another small one one. No pickerel either . I was surprised due to the fact there were 3 boats there and a ton of shore fishermen.

Why did you modify it? I'm just wondering because I may do that.

I just bought a 1997 Bass Tracker with a 40hp Mercury force and was wondering if it is normal for it to pee out like a spitting? I was told by the owner that it has always done this and has never overheated. I did take it for a ride and it did not overheat. Water is coming out, But not like my 150 HP evinrude.

Does anyone know where is the closest place to launch a bass boat around the Nashua, NH area into the Merrimack river. I want to try to catch some smallies.

All fish were caught on a blk/gold with white bottom crankbait. I went way out and fished the pads and shallow grass on the other side. I did not get out till almost 12:00 so it was hot out there, and I was not expecting much, But did ok. I know if I can get out earlier I hope to a little better (Bass wise that is). If you go to massabesic I have only fished the from the Auburn side and what I did was head to the big rocks out there and caught some there, But if you are fishing from a Jon boat I would fish all the areas near the launch. Last year a guy caught a 3 pounder right near the launch. When I went there I was using a deep driver crankbait and was bouncing them off the rocks. Good Luck and post pictures. Hope you do well.

Went to Robinson Pond today in the Bass boat late, But got 5 pickerel >, 1 Bass , and 1 Perch . There was plenty of action there. I was suprised how big that place is, Glad I did not take the inflatable. I will be going back with my son soon. Not bad for a couple of hours. Here is a picture of the Bass and a Perch. No pictures of the pickerel.

Well I ended up with a mint 1997 Bass Tracker Pro 18 dual console (from Factory) with a 40hp mercury. Seats and carpet are in great condition (no rips) and no dents in hull. I had to drive 6 hrs one way to get it, But well worth. Thanks to all that helped out.

Did last year from the shore and no luck. I plan to get out there in my bass boat soon though. I heard there was a big smallie caught there in Merrimack, NH.

Tom I was down at robinson pond the other day to check it out and I had a chance to talk to the locals and was told there are a ton of bass in there. He told me the average bass is 2lbs, But has caught 5lbs in there. I plan to get out there soon and will report on it.

Mill pond will get very hard to fish in about 4 weeks or so. The millfoil makes it tough to fish. I will be heading to horseshoe or Lake Massabesic for fishing. Mill pond does have some big hawgs in there though. I am hoping to catch my first smallmouth this year. I have a few places to try.

Caught 4 bass at Mill pond today and 1 black crappie. The biggest bass was a 3lbs 9oz here is a picture. He was a fighter to. I was glad I had 12lbs line on. That milfoil is heavy now and I had to drag him out. All in all fun day. All bass were caught on a jig very tight to cover and the black crappie was on a crank bait. ;D

Going out tommorow AM, But I'm sure with all this rain it will tough fishing.

I guess my best bet would be to find a boat WITH power trim.
