  1. 3 lakes, 1 swamp, two rivers. farthest drive is about 1 1/2 hour.
  2. i try to do all my fishing at nite. less crowded. i like thundersticks, jitterbugs, ripplin redfins.
  3. my dad. trout fishing small streams. but trout fishing didnt hit it with me, i was always after smallies .

  5. got mine today ;D. a big hairy hand that reeked of bananas handed it to me.
  6. i do it just to get out. dont catch much. have a good time with friends.

  8. i fish with my son, keeps me outta trouble. he's in college now, so hit it alone.
  9. i fish mostly electric motor only lakes. but in the river i fish they have rafting trips, samething, standing in the water at a good hole, here they come, if you dont get out of the way they will run you over. my fishing buddyseen one sunning himself on the raft, threw an eel on him. think he had to change his pants.
  10. i use fitovers, they go over my glasses work good. act as a good pair of goggles when i ride.
  11. was up there sat nite, on the weedbed not a word said to me. rangers motored up, checked for floatation, liscences, and lights, said good luck and left.
  12. so far this year i redone the living room and kitchen. finally got my garage in order. as far as fishin hardly done any serious stuff. just sneak out here and there.
  13. i fish mostly two lakes in pa, electric only, both have weedbeds close to launch areas never had anybody say anything about fishing there including the park rangers. the way i see it some people just like to gripe about anything. i'd keep fishin them.
  14. usually dont catch fish big enough to net.
  15. smallies in the susquehanna had sores on them this summer. pa fish commission said was due to bacteria caused by water levels being low and water warmed up too much.
  16. i tie my own jigs. the only thig you'll need is a fly vise, bobbin, thread and hair, or feathers whatever you plan on doin. head cement( i use clear nail polish). any fly tying site will give the basic idea. i do up shad darts over the winter.
  17. pull? got a 12' aluminum throw it in back of the truck and away we go. 94 2500 dodge ram diesel. two wheel drive. great mileage. ;D

  19. fishin buddy used to work at one part time, we would fish at nite when nobody was golfin. caught lots of bass no monsters but 2 to 3 pounders.
  20. do it all the time. from put in to my favorite spot, or if i move around. you aint fishin unless bait is in the water. usually tie on a thunderstick or a big spinner and let it run about 50 ft behind. picked up some nice fish this way. not only bass. musky, pickerel, walleye,occasional trout.
  21. chasing my fishing buddies down the river with a live copperhead they was screamin loud enough to wake the dead. trying to flyfish i hooked myself in the butt, standing on a rock in middle of the river with my pants down trying to get the hook out, and rafters goin on both sides of the rock. trusting my buddy night fishing this great pond, till the cops came.
  22. i like gulp 7" turtle back worms, junebug or watermelon, venom tubes, been known to fish a thunderstick also.
  23. do it all the time, sometimes do better on the live bait rig.
  24. listen for baitfish breakin the surface, drop a crankbait close. best time to fish.
