  1. Congrats, great fish welcome to the club.
  2. Congratulations. Great fish!!. I caught by PB smallmouth of 6 lbs in February and I still carry a picture around with me and show anybody that wants to talk fishing.
  3. Way to go ick!! That's nice fish on 4lb test line.
  4. It was a fun day of fishing. I don't know if I will ever catch one bigger but I do know there are some bigger ones roaming around in the Tennessee river. I will keep tryin though. I almost jumped out of the boat when we got this one in the net. It was really exciting when you first see a fish this size come to the surface.
  5. Thanks everyone. I was drifting below the dam using 4 lb test YoZuri line fishing live minnows. You really can't rush a fish in on that light line and is it constantly pulling your drag. Thanks to RW for going with me a few times and showing me the correct technique for Tennesse River smallmouth. This is my first winter fishing for them, but it won't be my last.
  6. Went to Pickwick today and caught my PB smallmouth of 6 pounds. Total of our best five smallmouths today was 19 pounds. Thanks RW for sharing your knowledge and advice.

    Great fish! Enjoyed the day.
  8. Both lakes in the State Park are trolling motor only but you can leave your big motor on your boat. Piersol Lake has a very rough ramp. You will need a very small boat or 4 wheel drive. The other Lake in the park is larger and has a better ramp.
  9. I took my grandson to the Meeman Shelby State Park last week during his spring break. We caught a lot of small bass in Piersol lake on a Berkley power worm in the june bug color. Nothing big but it was a lot of fun.
  10. I work nights 4 days a week. I can go almost every Friday or on the weekend with some advance notice for scheduling. It would be great to get with some of the other West Tennessee Bass Resource members.
  11. Man you really smoked them. I have been fishing Pickwick but not doing nearly as good as you. I have been fishing in Yellow Creek. We need to go sometime so you can get me started fishing deep ledges.
  12. Depending on this weekends weather I may be able to fish a few hours on Sunday morning.
  13. I am restoring a 15 ft Lowe Stinger Pro. I have the front deck off and I am installing a new trolling motor and depth finder in the front. I am looking for any recommendations for routing transducer cables ect. Right now I can drill holes and run cables anywhere I want. Any suggestions?
