Well right now is technically hunting season, so more of the hunting shows are on. Like summer when it's fishing season more fishing shows are on and less hunting shows.

Thanks alot Jake, that's what I thought on how you would really use it, haven't really tried that but just hopping it a few times. Haven't really caught anything with that but I'll try your technique.

My all time favorite for early summer will have to be early morning top water like a Zara Spook or something. Anything that walks the dog will produce, well in my case it does.

Ugh, I know its a odd question but, how do I use it? I've only caught 1 fish on a jig n pig and that was all luck because it was on the fall as soon as it hit the water. I've never really read or tried a technique or rhythm to fish these baits. Any advice and comments are strongly appreciated. Thank you.

well for myself i am done fishing til spring BUT, i'm still going out feeling the bottoms and looking for drop off with a sinker or a heavy jig preparing myself for the spring and summer, just try locating some spots or underwater obstacles

If you don't mind sharing your feelings about when you first entered or started the think about entering a tournament I myself is thinking about entering into one but I'm a bit less confident about myself and a bit scared. Not sure of what I'm really scared of but just that feeling of being scared. I don't know a few people says that I just need a push. My confident for myself to place fish in a tournament is very low because I've never really fished on a boat, just rentals. anything helps thanks!

i would say from my experience the best time to use top water poppers is when the bass are chasing bait fish or when you see schools of shiners swimming or just breaking the surface, this usually works best for me

I racked up, packed up for the season just waiting for spring at the moment. So why don't you guys help keep my mind on tracks by telling me your fishing experiences lately. Since these winter months are here now. Thank you I can't wait until spring. Time to hibernate.

For the past month or so my buddy and I haven't been catching any fish. I know it deals with the factor that we're shore fishing but still fishing is still taking it's toll on me for the year. I already put it all away now. Forgot how it feels like to catch a fish. darn it!...... :-/ well any tips and techniques from the northern part of the country? (all is appreciated)

i'm wondering do u need to get a state license or what ever to own one? i've never owned a boat before but looking foward to buying one this spring. do u need insurance or state registration or anything of that sort to own one?
