  1. When I got back into fishing a few years ago I got my first baitcaster. It was a Daiwa Samarai, cheap but was great to learn on. With the Daiwa I experienced a few backlashes early on but have not got it dialed in. Last year I bought a used BPS Rick Clunn and have had trouble with backlashes and occasionly breaking the line in many places while casting. I have tried a few different settings but can't seem to stay clear of the line breaking or backlashes. Any help or insight would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. Don't know if you have the manual or not but it can be downloaded from Humminbird. I had the same unit on a previous boat and went through the same thing. I mainly used it for depth and structure.
  3. I went to the BPS in Orlando a few days ago. No new Rage Tail products yet. None of the three BPS's I've been to carry Cavitron's either. I think Dick's is the only one (and of course, none of them around here). :'( Ughhh! When do I get ANACONDAS!?!? > ;D I believe Tackle Wharehouse has Anacondas in stock
  4. Pretty good idea. I plan on getting a FF real soon and don't really want to drill into my boat. Ill probably go the suction cup route but will save the plungers for home use.

  7. Glad you got yours so fast, hopefully mine will come today as well. Going fishing in 3 hours so it would come in handy. I already love the chartruse and white Cavitron I've had for awhile.
