  1. Yep 14 inches and we threw it back to catch again! It's mouth was almost big enough to put a pop can in it very good catch for around here.

  5. X2 if that plastic is an 8 " Manns!!!!!
  6. Best restoration I have seen yet GREAT JOB
  7. This year all I wanted was a new, cheap spinning outfit for some of the creeks we wade. So this is what I chose A Quantum Optix 20 ($20) and a Berkley Amp rod ($27) at Dicks, I think it's a fairly nice setup for under 50 bucks!
  8. I do, The Heddon torpedo was light blue on the head and clear on the tail, matched with a Zebco combo with a pistol grip rod. And yes I still have both as a reminder of how things used to be a whole lot simpler!
  9. Nice work as always Marty -John
  10. Gamakatsu and Owner 3/0 - 5/0
  11. When it comes to worms, I like to have 3 colors Blackberry, Watermelonseed, and Grape (Manns, or equivalent colors from Berkley). For frogs 2 colors Black Pearl and Green Pumpkin(Stanley Ribbits!) For trailers usually I match the jig, so it's one of 3 colors Black Blue Flake, Candy Craw, and Summer Craw(Strike King Rage Baby Craws!) These are the standards I carry, But not the only colors the Monkey has made me buy!!!!!
  12. Rayraff, Get a hot spots map and hit the points around Allens Creek,And Harden Ridge. Also the areas of Pine Grove and Paynetown have been productive for me. Last but not least along the shoreline of Cutright recreation area. Natural colors have worked well for me in the past. I'm sure there are more and better spots but these are my favorites. -JOHN

  15. For Zac's 13th birthday I took him to Reelfoot lake in Tenn. Although we missed the great bite by about three weeks we still did well. The temps were in the high 90's and the lake wasn't much cooler! Four days at the Blue Bank Resort gave us a good sunburn, some great memories, and a nice mess of fish to take home.
  16. Marty the bottom two look great. As always great job -john
