  1. Lovin that pic now that snowmobile season is right around the corner, just need the northeast to get blanketed now.
  2. I know their are a lot of topics about these but wondering how they perform with aits other than big swimbaits. Are they sensitive enough for things like carolina rigging and deep jigging? Could they work as a flippin rod? Was looking at the 7'6" MH model that has a lure rating of 1/2 oz - 5 oz and wondering if I could do all of the above effectively along with some of the smaller swimbaits like the Mattlures?
  3. Thanks for the input, probably wont go above an ounce until i get my next setup
  4. Right now I only have a couple rod and reel setups but have a couple baits that are over the rods reccomended capacity. Was wondering how far over the rating you can go before you risk breaking the rod on a cast. Wanted to throw some jig and pig combos and the heavier lipless cranks like the clackin rap that might be over the 3/4 oz rating, the clackin rap would be 1/8. Would this break the rod or what level do you guys think would ruin the rod?
  5. Pretty sure you have to wire battery positive to one side of the swirtch and pump positive to other side of the switch then just connect negative pump wire to negative battery side. End up with two positive wires connected to switch and one negative connecting pump and battery
  6. I used the mothers powerball on my snowmobile tunnel and that made it really quick to get a shine close to that. Once you get the crud off with the powerball, polishing by hand is much easier to get the shine like that.
  7. It seems like you could learn a lot but what about the pros that don't like to talk when they are fishing. You could get a lot out of just watching I guess but who wouldn't be tempted to chat the guy's ear off if they dont have anything else to do. Also is the camera job something that you have to do? This seems like it can ge annoying for the guys who just want to sit back and watch and like a job BASS used to pay people for, though they were professionals.

Ever notice any difference in effectiveness by the size of the scales you use? All look sweet by the way
  9. How about one of those claws on a stick that lazy people use to pick stuff up with?
  10. Hi, just started fishing regularly this year and live in CT. I regularly fish a reservoir/lake but all the good spots seemed to be covered with pads up top and weeds underneath. Im getting frustrated because I've tried every presentation with different rigs that are all supposed to be weedless from texas rigged worms to buzzbaits but even if it the slopp isnt hooked it still wraps around the line. Is this normal or am I doin something wrong. Also do you guys have luck with frogs even when their arent any naturally in the area?
