Easy way to clear livewell lines?
I have a 17ft bass tracker crappie version with livewells and bait wells in the front and back. I'm pretty sure something is clogging the hoses because the water is coming out very slowly for my livewells and takes forever to fill them. Anyone have any tricks to clear them?

Circle Hooks For Wacky Rigging
I've been using 1/0 gamakatsu circle hooks this year on 5 inch senkos. Usually just tighten the line with the rod and then start reeling to set the hook. Was using with o-rings and without them through the summer and felt like success didn't change much when not using the o-rings. Used a Shakespeare rod that has a pretty soft tip and 6 pound trilene fluorocarbon line. Probably going to up it to 8 pound test next year so I get less break offs when fighting bigger fish, but that is mostly from my inexperience. Cant imagine to much change in technique other then remembering not to put to much pressure on the hook set.

When to call it quits...?
If your not enjoying yourself while fishing, that is the time to hang it up. Why torture yourself?

Jewel Eakins Jig trailers
For those of you who have used them, what kind of trailers do you use with them. I bought some rage craws and some baby paca craws to use on them from TW but didn't realize how big they were compared to the jig. Do you still use big trailers with these jigs or do you downsize more?

Moodus Resv, CT HELP!
Just fished the upper side on Sunday for about an hour and was only able to catch a pickerel on a spinnerbait as well. To me it was weird because I had never caught a pickerel in there and my Dad thought they had pretty much died out years ago, guess we were wrong. Plan on trying again there Thursday morning, I'll let you know if I find something that works good.

Matt Lures Baby Bass Series
What kind of position does it have when sitting on the bottom? Is it nose down like the bluegill or does it fall on its side? I have the perch pattern and was thinking about trying it for bed fishing.

off set point hook.
I use those for wacky rigging senkos, also plan on using them for drop shot, and i have had good success with them. Your not really supposed to set the hook with these, just put pressure on the line and the fish hooks itself as it swims away.

Tour KVD or E21
I was considering the KVD rod, but I dont think they are very versatile unless you want to go above the 7 foot mark. The lure ratings seem way to low for crankbait rods and are also very small ranges for the rods below 7 feet.

Unremovable Hooks
When you have treble hooks swing around and hook the gills like when fishing jerkbaits, do you take the hook out or leave it in of taking it out could rip them up pretty good?

Help me find this crankbait!!!

Rod Power question
Was looking at the dobyns champion casting rods and noticed that the MH rods and H rods both have minimum lure ratings of a 1/4 ounce and both are fast tips. The max however for the MH is 3/4 and the max for the H is 1 ounce. Was wondering what the MH would be better at than the H or if I would be able to do everything the MH can do and more with the H.

My New Ride
Bought this 1980 Sears GameFisher 12 ft Jon Boat on Craigslist for $140. Was in pretty rough shape but gave it a new two tone paint job, replaced the transom wood, and used some aluminum epoxy to reinforce some rivets. Then found this 2005 3.3 with only 3 hours on it and was able to pick it up for only $300. Overall I think I got a pretty good deal on the whole setup and plan to use it on the local lakes. Also plan on putting some swivel seats on the bench.

trolling motor - should it be bent like this??
Aren't those shafts designed to flex a little to absorb impact? Check to see if the bend is still there when its deployed, then you may have a problem.

Favorite fishing snack?
Some of the crackers with peanut butter in them were the ones that had salmonella found in them I'm pretty sure so you may not find them for a while. I like Gatorade and Famous Amos cookie packs
