i've fly fished before, but i havent caught anything on it. how do you set the hook with a fly rod? do you pull the line thats in your hand? or do you jerk the rod up like what you do with a regular rod?

has anyone seen these or have had any luck with them? http://www.mattlures.com/products.htm look real nice but very expensive. the bluegill series is 20 dollars a pop and the baby bass series is 12 dollars you can use them as a swimbait or you can let it go to the bottom, and they automatically go nose down when on the bottom, as if they were feedin on eggs. dont really want to spend 20 dollars for 1 but we'll see
