  4. I love the elite mono. casts smooth and little memory. just put some siege on one rod but haven't tried it yet.
  5. there is a really nice one in lowell. just have to watch out for the dummies on jet skis.
  6. Never got it in the beans either but all of my angel and XSV pants had padding there.
  7. I spooled it with braid but backed by mono, it is on there good not slipping. I am pushing the button all the way down but it is not popping back up to re-engage. I just got a dud, I'll have to exchange it.
  8. Yes it is very addicting. I used to play PSP 5 man for Virgina Beach Reign when i was in the navy. I spent a lot of money playing then i got married and the paintball fund disappeared. If i spent that money on fishing gear i would have more stuff than the pros.
  9. I just bought a 5501 C3. I took it out to try it and the reel is not engaging after I cast. I have to crank the handle like 5 times before it will start taking up line. I have never had a round reel before so i want to know if I am doing something wrong, but i think it is broken.
  10. The veritas spinning rods are for sale at cabelas!

  14. Anyone fishing the river? I've been out a few times this year. Haven't caught anything big, just dinks.
  15. i have the same engine and mine was doing the same thing. i brought it to a mechanic and he fixed the linkages and the timing now it runs awesome.
  16. Marty's was across the street from freemon pond
  17. I am glad everyone agrees with me, maybe he tows in 4wd. That would change the handling. Now where did i put my beer and crack pipe.
  18. 3000 lbs on a bumper hitch? :-? yes, and it it had a 300lb tongue load limit. i pulled it pretty well but now i have an expedition and i cant tell its behind me. This may get me in trouble but I just can't let it go. Come on! "I can't tell it's behind me". How many times I heard that and it's a bunch of Cr%p. You can tell when anything is hooked to the back of a vehicle unless you drunk, on crack, or drive so slow you would never know anyway. I have an F-250 SD and can tell a difference in driving and handling when I have a 15' boat attached. No i really can't notice it is behind me. It is not crap, my Expedition is beastly and my boat only weighs like 2500 lbs with the trailer.
  19. 3000 lbs on a bumper hitch? :-? yes, and it it had a 300lb tongue load limit. i pulled it pretty well but now i have an expedition and i cant tell its behind me.
  20. i looked at the espn website and it still shows outdoors being on the tv schedule
  21. do you have a link for this news? is it forever?
  22. my explorer sport bumper could handle like 3000 lbs, depends on your car and the size of your boat, you would probably be better off getting a real hitch.
  23. what kind of manual? i have the manual for my mercury but it does not mention all of this.
  24. Bought the 788ci, do not want to have to deal with Lowrance if it has problems.
  25. I have been researching both of these and would like to hear from people who own these. I'm not looking to get SS or Si right now. I hear that the Bird has better features but the Lowrance has better picture and i think the customer service issue with Lowrance is pretty poor. Which one is the better overall unit?
