  1. here's an awesome video of moss my wife just showed me.
  2. He's coming back to new england if he doesn't get picked up on waivers.
  3. There is no question that that enlisted members of the air force have the highest quality of life. But navy pilots are treated like royalty. You don't get to chose what plane you want to fly, you get weeded out through school. only the best fly fighter jets. Being a warrant officer in the army and flying helos would probably be the easiest way.
  4. he is going to have to get some kind of engineering or science degree, a recruiter can tell him. Then he has to go through officer training school and then flight school. he should look at being a navy pilot they're better!
  5. Which one?
  6. I hope the Raiders defense does awesome next week, i picked them up cause the Titans are on a bye.
  7. He stayed back to stay with his family but maybe childress told him last night. The pats could pick him back up pay him less and keep they're 3rd round pick.
  8. Is tackle warehouse going to carry them?
  9. He stayed in ma. today. I hope he comes back to the pats.
  10. I can't find the article on ESPN, it may have been just on TV that said he didn't know about the trade. He just wanted a contract and you can see he is missing it here from what he said. He was trying to force a contract but ended up getting traded because Belichick and the patriots don't pay. Everyone knows that. Complain about pay and get traded.
  11. He didn't ask for a trade out, he wanted a contract in new england. that trade was done overnight and he had no idea.
  12. I've been enjoying it since 98.
  13. There's no place like home!
  14. That's why all my buddies left with 100K in the bank. BAH straight to savings.
  15. I made some money till we bought a house, I lived on the ship and she stayed home with her parents. I had a lot of friends who made money, they would use their "wife's" lease in NYC for the BAH, and their wife didn't know about the money. It is stupid and that is why the divorce rate is super high in the military.
  16. Bro, I've been married and divoriced twice in the Army (thin women both times ), and I'm here to tell you nobody's paycheck doubles when they get married. BAH and BAS combined make up only about 20% of my paycheck. Family seperation pay for deployed Soldiers isn't enough to excited about either. I was making like $1850 as an E3, when i got married my BAH was $2100. It was Boston BAH, maybe you were getting WV BAH and it wasn't much.
  17. I paused the video and saw Verdict right on the blank.

  19. Acadia sports sells them but they're out of stock right now and they're $65 and they're buy one get one free. Their rods are alright, mine have been fine but both of my father's broke in the same place.
  20. Me rocking the M4 on the flight deck of CVN 75 in Marseilles, France in 08.
  21. Yeah some guys will marry anyone, but mostly people who don't know and won't find out that there paycheck doubles when they get married. The guys keep all the money and the girls get heath insurance.
  22. Oh, oh! We have several members who are active and retired military that might take exception to that remark. Are you saying obesity is more common in miltary wives than civilian wives? Just for clarification, do they look like the girl behind the glass, or the girl in the glass? I got out of the navy in Jan 09 and i will confirm this statement, not all of them look like that but a lot do. They sit at home all day pumping out kids and the husbands are gone out to sea all the time. They don't see them that much. Plus most of them are just married for money.
  23. that's awesome...I'll take 3!
