Thanks D. If I may ask what did you clear the helmets with?

Something other than a bait
I decided to paint something other than a crankbait. I am not real happy with the clear coat and it needs some cleaning on the inside from overspray, but turned out pretty good. Let me know what you think.

It's been awhile, but.......
Here are the baits I did over the weekend. It was nice to be able to get back out and paint. Tell me what you think, good or bad. All these will be headed to Kentucky lake here in a few weeks. Hopefully they will wear out those ledge fish. Hope you like 'em. From the top waters To the crappies To some sexy's to a couple of shadows. To a couple blue backs to a couple sour apples And last but not least, a couple off the walls

creature/lizard bait pourers
Injection is the way to go for thin appendages and no trimming. That being said, the more you pour the less overrun you will have. What I use is a small pair of sewing scissors to trim baits. You can also try to use your fingernail or a spoon to "press" the excess off. What I mean by that is to push down on the excess at the edge of the mold. This won't work with pop or rtv molds. Also you may try pouring the thin parts first and let it run or get pulled into the main body. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks guys. Got the other 2 baits yesterday Marty, thanks a ton! I will keep posting pics as I get them done. You make a great bait. Got to fish a few of them frinally and am impressed with the action on them. After a tick of tuning they have all run good! Don't have any fish pics for ya yet, but that will happen.
