  1. Anyone have any tips on bending back a bent Bowmount shaft. It's an old Motorguide that I had for years and just not willing to let it go. I bent it on a sandbar And had the back motor running . was too lazy to pull up before changing spots. ???
  2. nice resume rich,your hired.
  3. if bass fishing was wrong I don't wanna be right.
  4. I was thinking the same thing.
  5. Good to have some locals onboard, I fish those same lakes,Greenwich kinda has those california Characteristics if you ask me, deep water, trout stockings, and natural feeder creeks coming in. Had some good days there. I live in south jersey as well. Good fishing to ya this upcoming season. You know the fishing is hot right now I've been getting out twice a week still. You can catch some pickerel right now at new brooklyn on super flukes. Caught around 12 of them sunday with a bonus bass.
  6. Nice boat brett that is similiar to my boat, no camo though.or 25 hp mrc yet.
  7. Rich how do you cast the fly reel without your bait flying off the hook.
  8. Craziest thing I caught to date is a a bowfin, I caught it this past summer on a berkely crawworm. Thing hit like a ton of bricks problay went about 4 lbs. Those things have some chompers on em.
  9. Nice fish rich what do you use for carp bait. I prefer floating bread,or natural berries.
  10. I'm gonna agree wth auto. If your talking some high end baits and not Unkle Bucks
  11. At least their not thongs!
  12. G-loomis looks like a popular rod.How would you g-loomis guys compare that to a st.croix. Basically what I'm asking is their that much of different feel.Besides the price
  13. Come on pond -pro I know you got a whole dufflebag of senkos!
  14. I was going through one of many tacklebags tonight and noticed a majority of my newest tackle is either Yum or zoom. This must be my favorite. What is everyones fav. lure co.or tackle. For rods I seem to a big fan of st. Croix, and reels I'm leaning more and more against Shimano.
  15. I'll be quick on this.Stitching is when you throw a plastic worm with no weight. And do just liked it's called stitch,( grab the line and kinda of pull it worm off the bottom real elegant/slow. )
  16. I jsut like interacting with tons of loyal bass fishing people. Where else can you go and talk with people all from over the country. Not only that get different opinions.
  17. Chris You are a post machine Have you seen your post number. Your like a bassresource junky!
  18. What about Bassbuddy?
  19. Roland likes to estimate his fish about three to Five pounds over. Glenn, I like the marketing approaches these manufactures take,my favorite is the one with guy and his son are fishing off a dock and his son has a fat hogged hooked and it's jumping flopping and they are just calm and collective. I believe it is the berkely trilene.
  20. I hope catching fish is not a problem as well.
  21. Still the same new jersey veteran bass. I like to know what the heck some of your screen names are.
  22. I heard a couple reasons that might be why. 1. The rain knocks small insects in the water. 2. The rain adds more oxygen to the water. 3. raises water levels. I have a nice section of river i fish year round after it rains. The thing is I'm fishing where their is a drain pipe coming in. The other day I was using a small chartruese tube with a 16 bullet weight catching just about every species available.Anyway to make along story short I thought i was hung up on a rock so reeled the tip of the rod down to what I thought was a a snag and then it took off. Loose drag and 4lb test are to blame.
  23. I had a similiar experience when the wife left town. I never slept on my boat though. Imagine if you dropped her off at the airport with the boat already hitched.
  24. Before I begin I like to say to Nick you have it made. Anyways My year is usually only on hold for about 6 weeks even then I'm fishing running watertill the lakes thaw.I usually spend them 6 weeks at fishin expos or taking long drives to Bass pro shops or cabelas. I usually give my reels to a local tackle shop to lube and maintence.(Try to keep the guy in business)I checked my license Last year it was issued on feb. 3.I usually get my biggest fish in march when the water is right near 55 Degrees,They have been coming on jigs, and super flukes around these parts in then early spring. I really Don't know what else to say. I'll end with all i do is fish and if I'm not fishing I'm working.
