Bass fishing for me is both a hobby and obssesion I drive my wife and kids crazy because I talk about it so much but its great relaxation for me and wife likes it when I go

Obsession.  I am starting to get a serious case of the spring fever and it is 5 degrees outside currently.  Last night I couldnt sleep so I took three reels apart and cleaned them and oiled them and put some fresh line on.  God let there be warmth.

I have found myself to be addicted. My partner talked me into going ice fishing and I thought, what the hell, it's fishing right? I think he got kinda upset with me though becuase I kept tipping the ice shanty every time I tried to cast that 1/2 oz. rattle trap into that little hole. Let me tell ya, it's not easy to cast a 6 1/2 foot rod in a tiny shanty. I don't know how these guys do it. Actually, I have a calander counting the days until March 28 or so. I just tear off one for each day, by the way it's 73 days away lol....

I only fish on days ending with a " Y ".

Lets see!  I have a four day weekend every weekend and June, July, and August off work.  So if the temperature is above freezing I try not to go fishing more than 3 days evey weekend and not more than 6 days a week during the summer.  I guess I am possessed rather than obsessed!

If heaven doesn't have bassfishing then I 'm staying here.

I'm hopin' that Satan has a bass lake 'cause I doubt if there is much hope for heaven for me!

well, i have only been fishing for about 3 months but i gotta say. Im Obsessed. I talk about it all the time and think about it. i check this site very hour or so sometimes evey 10 minutes haha

Ijust love fishin. I just want something to bend my pole. however bass fishin is somewhat of a challenge. i love bass,crappie,shellcracker,bluegill,catfish, Hell I even have fished for drum at times.

I just bought a new truck to match my boat!!!!!!

No really Im just holding on for spring :-/

i am obsessed with the sport. All my friends think i am crazy. only one of them fishes so he is the only one that doesnt call me crazy. i got a paper route to buy a fishing boat and i am planning on getting a bass boat before i get a truck. Also i read bassfishin stuff every morning on the internet and when my teacher asks me to read i break out a bassmaster magazine or some kind of bass book, I even wake up at 3:45AM to Watch BASS SATURDAY on ESPN because i am on the west coast. Last but not least i am going to be a bass pro or own a fishing shop. God bless

season. Oh my.  MY throat is getting dry..my hands are

sweaty..Final Four/ Spawning Bass ..Huge Unc fan..............hey if I give you my cell pone number will you call me  on my boat with the score?

Well, Id say that any one, man or woman, that will go out and buy 8 thousand dollars worth of mostly useless stuff, take a chance on buying a boat while making morgage and truck payments, put up with a spouse who constantly complains about them not being there enough, stay up till the wee hours of the morning researching the sport and the subject, spend the whole next day cramming all 8 thousand dollars of stuff into four compartments on the boat, go to sleep late, wake up early early early to brave conditions the postman wouldn't even think about, sit in a cramped boat for ten hours with no bite and just when they are ready to give it up and go home, feel one tiny tap and stays out for another six hours, come home, go to work and think about fishing all day while accomplishing little if any actual work, .....   may be slightly interested.  

Oh... by the way,,,  I'm obsessed.
