Anyone know anything about these guides? Been looking at a rod that has these on them just wanted some info

Ok but here's my issue. When I try this on some rods I want to remove the cork above the reel seat for sensitivity reasons. Will sanding the rod blank hurt sensitivity??

I've moved from Storm shads to Tsunami and have caught more fish. The Storm shad tails are too thin and don't swim nearly as well. X2 Though I like the storm wild eye shad Tsunami version of the bait is better quality

Did those rods have full cork handles before? cause I tried to do that to few older rods and it looked bad?
