MCS I'm talking above Dallas like, Lewisville, Denton, Gainesville. And North Texas is everything to the east of the panhandle. But anywhere around the DFW area is alright. As a matter of fact Fort Worth isn't to bad either. At the end of the day its all God's country so you can't choose a bad place. Capt.O

You can't go wrong if your moving to Texas pick a lake and move to a town next to it. Besides even Houston would seem like heaven after living in N.Y. Problem sloved Capt.O

OK so here is a video I found on youtube. Its pretty much two fishermen doing a music video to the song "Someone That I Use To Know" by Gotye. While I'll admit that the video was well done and the ending was kinda funny what really got my attention was this comment. How cool is that! I mean I bet these guys weren't even thinking about promoting St.Croix. If you read most of the other comments its seems that people really love the video and are begging for more. Here is the video

Funny it has been hot here in North Texas but we also have been getting a lot of rain so everything is growing like crazy.

I was spanked and I have no problems with it. In all honesty I believe that kids who don't get spanked have more issues while they are growing up because they don't get spanked. Any one who is a big enough of a D*** to call the cops on a parent spanking there child needs to have their head examined.

Here is the problem. We are discussing a tactic as it pertains to a way of rigging a bait. For example my favorite way of fishing a craw style bait is to "rig" it on shakey head and drag it across the bottom (tactic). For KVD he is rigging a worm like a shaky head but he is fishing it more like a light texas rig. At the end of the day fishing a shakey head (which is a tactic) means letting the bait sit on the bottom and slowly shakey it. Once you stop doing that and start fishing the bait differently you are no longer fishing a shakey head even if it is rigged like one. Capt.O

Clayton be careful that the time off doesn't become a couple weeks or months off.

The program I'm on eliminates this problem but having challenges every 4 weeks to gauge where your fitness level is at. Makes you stay motivated because if you don't get through the challenge you have to repeat the past 4 weeks of work before you retry the challenge. Trust me it keeps you motivated

Hey guys I'm back ( Not like you guys even noticed that I was gone ) Well like the post says I final got to the point where I couldn't take it any longer and I had to return back to the fold. Sad to say my fishing life is in shambles due to work and school so I figured the next best thing to going fishing is to talk about it. You'll find me very behind so I might need to some catching up on all things bass fishing. Plus I noticed that Raider Nation is OCD on these boards so I figured you guys might need a helping hand reeling him in Anyways just wanted to say hi and see if there is anything I should know before I start randomly posting again. OK after reading this post the first three things that entered my brain where 1. The lakes and rivers in Tennessee must be frozen over. 2. We need to get RW out on the water. 3. His next post might be something about the Kardashians. Capt.O

Raider I can't help with the hip hop part. I see the the hip hop culture as one of the biggest problems with my generation. It promotes a lifestyle of greed where hard work and respect for oneself and others is an after thought. Where being "gangster" is cool and being proud to make a living is so 1990's. The only way to defeat it is to beat it in your own area. Something tells me that when kids see good upstanding people working in the trades making money and living well, they won't see starving and wearing their pants and the ground being as "cool" as it once was. Capt.O

Just to keep up with the theme here is a great article I saw today on yahoo finance. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/100-000-factory-job-whats-145600750.html I think it makes a vary valid point. Part of the reason the trades are shunned is because they have a bad image and get a bad rap from pop culture. What needs to happen is the trades need to get a new brand image. Guys if your really want to do something about this then its up to you to make it happen. You guys are the people that represent the trades so you are the people that kids need to see. For example how hard would it be for some of you to maybe volunteer some time and give a talk at the local high school or community college about the trade your in? Tell them about what you do and what the job opportunities and salaries are like in your trade. The kids in my generation and the generation following are getting hit with cold hard reality that a college degree doesn't get you as far as it use to. If you guys can show them that good jobs and high pay are available outside of a college degree I'm sure many would go to trade school. Its not going to be easy but the only ones who can make the trades "cool" again are the men and women who are in them. I truly believe that if America is ever going to get back on its feet its going to do it on the backs of its small business owners and trades people and not its scientist,engineers and business people.
