  1. Little expirement with new colors from fishingsskirts.com
  2. http://store.jobabylures.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc? They may give a bulk discount
  3. Anyone use these? I am looking for a more subtle plastic trailer than the Pacas or rage craws for cold water. http://www.***.com/descpageKSPL-KCUJGTR.html
  4. I have been using PP for probably 8 yrs or so. I use 15 lb on spinning setups and 30lb on BC. Just bought some Suffix and like it , it feels like PP after it has its break in period (GETS SOFTER). I use a about 1/3 of backing then the braid then about 10-20 ft of Fluoro leader (use mono leader on top waters)using a uni on the leader side to improved cinch on the braid side nice small secure knot. I feel this gives me the best of all worlds as far as casting, sensitivity and abrasion resistance. Loosen your drag a lil bit more than normal and just a light wrist set of the hook. It does have a learning curve but IMHO it is worth it in the long run. I do use the yellow color on my finesse set ups as I have gotten older and it is easier to see plus the length of the leader keeps the fish from seeing it.
  5. Symetre 2500 69.99 Sahara 2500 59.99 Sedona 2500 39.99 Which one and why? Coupons at Dicks is why the pricing comes out this way.
  6. These work great , I even use the 4/0 with baby bush hawgs: http://www.***.com/descpageTERMROBO-RWRBH.html
  7. I use both on but BC's, 8-10lb cx on a finesse rig, cxx 12 lb on a general mh rig. I am going to switch to 6lb or 8lb cxx on the finesse rig I just have more confidence in it, and I have broken off the cx on snags too many times. I have Gamma 10lb on anther bc and it is good as well.
  8. I did well last night between 8pm and 9pm and it was still 90 degrees out on a baby brush hawg Greenie Meanie color with the tails dipped chrt. I would actually pop it hard off the bottom 3 times and then let it rest and then pop again 3 more times. This was in stained water then the mosquitos ran me off the water. They drink deet as an appertizer here in Charleston SC.

  13. So after the initial fall, how do you work it in 5-6' of water, do you pull up slowly and then let fall again?
  14. Anyone Tow with one, inline 6 HO ? Say 3000lbs.
  15. Make sure they both include dealer prep and freight charges.
  16. Try the True Tungsten weighted ones, you can fish them just under the surface, mid or on bottom all with the same rig. G bug and June bug have worked well for me in stained water, watermelon pumkin in clearer water. I use the 1ft per sec sink rate ones. http://www.***.com/descpageTTSBAIT-TTST.html Dicks in my area carrys them as well. Little more expensive than Zoom but more versitle IMHO.
  17. Walmart has berkley polarized glass with readers built into the bottom, work good even got rid of my Costas
  18. Always put in dip before spraying Eat a Key Lime everyday and in a month you wont have to use bug spray or you can buy concentrated juice online sounds crazy but it works, old indian trick
  19. As a father my self of a 7yr and 9yr old the catching is the most important aspect of fishing for them, whatever he uses makes sure he can use it well( simpler is better). I got caught up in going the BC direction and ended up going back to the Zebco ( but we did get the gold series ;D) and now it is just pure fishing. My 7yr old caught a 4.5 lber last night on his first cast with a popper and put the rod down and just taunted his sister and me the rest of the evening that we could not catch a bigger one.
  20. Just delet one loop http://www.thaifishingguide.com/fishtechequip/techniques/knots/triple_palomar_knot_steps.html
  21. What is the difference in these two lines besides the florou coating, in 10lb test which handles better which is stronger and which has better sensitivity?
  22. Just happen to have some coming fed ex tomorrow...
  23. The 4" has a tighter tail action that seems to work better for me, probably a confidence thing I was trying to use paypal , keeps the wife happier that way. ;D
