  1. 15 lb seagar invisix good for everything but topwater in my opinion
  2. I had the power handle on my revo still on there, but i put the regular handle on an old shimano bantam my dad gave me, my first baitcaster. Oiled her up going to see of she still got it. But need handle for revo any opinons dont want to spend $$$ or if anyone has one let me know
  3. On the count of three. One... Two... YANK! " i thought you said on count of three!?" is the method round here lol
  4. Im just reflecting past seasons, so from ice out till water hits 50* aproxx, i find myself mostly throwing jerkbaits and lipless cranks. Usually always with good results. But i feel as if when i get bit in an area i should then snipe it out with a hair jig or some finesse bait. But never have. I have no problem catching fish in cold water. Just havnt had too much time on the finesse side. Well thats all thanks
  5. Wonder if he could make an alewife
  6. Ive never used a jdm, are they actually made in japan? Prices are nice, is there a difference? Looking to try a scorpion
  7. Single uni, not sure if ill explain well. But take fluro make a 180 and pinch it so its got an "eye" bring braid through wrap around fluro which will be doubled up, seven wraps and then back through hole. Some old guy in florida showed me. Caught alot of big snook amd reds never had breakage
  8. Sweet, i wish shimano didnt do away with lifetime warranty on crucials, only reason i think im going to switch to loomis
  9. Araku shad in wild shiner
  10. Yo gary! Haha
  11. Ill second the pit boss, works good and good price
  12. Hawley
  13. I'm only changing hooks that need to be replaced, I was checking them lastnight, pretty rough shape
  14. So i want to put owners on all my cranks, just want some opinions on hook size, keep them the same, or are there benefits with different sizes. Mostly fishing rocks and wood
  15. Yea im not against keeping fish, especially perch amd crappie, ill keep some myself if im in the mood. Its just when people catch a big old 5+ and keep it to let it get freezer burnt or give it away. I guess i wasnt to specific, and i agree with removal of ovee populated imbred stunted bass, too many lakes around my area are like that.
  16. Lake is not very big, forgot to mention. And private
  17. So I'm hanging out at my friends, ask him if he wants to go ice fishing tomorrow. Tells me he's going to a lake I fish when ice is out. It's a Great Lake. Good numbers great size, he's going with my other buddy.. They are the type of ppl they can't throw back a big fish, or any fish I feel like. Whyyyyyyy do people have to suck
  18. Lucky craft pointers are great, but im realizing i can just about get two x raps for the price of one lc, and work just as well. But i think it depends the type of bait some more than others. Cheap spinnerbaits arnt worth tying on in my opinion. Worst part about the pricy baits is that once you buy high, your not going to go back to the cheaper ones.
  19. Im in the same boat. I dont think i will be buying anymore crucials now that they dropped the lifetime warranty, them new loomis rods look pretty sweet under 200
  20. Thanks boys, im sorta new to the fluro game, but yea ive had briad that i ran in the salt for a few years before i changed. Guess i can save myself a few bucks
  21. Use seagar invisix and changed out all my line halfway through last season, used the kvd conditioner a few times. Usually respool twice a season. Just wondering how long most of you all change out, it still looks crystal clear. Dont want to kick myself in the a55 and lose some LCs
