  1. Jeezer, The fish In my avatar came from a pond outside of Burgaw. If you get back down to Wilmington let me know and I'll get down that way and we'll fish. I'll also extend that Invitation to all the NC folks!
  2. How many fish have I caught this year? Several? A lot? The only sincere answer Is this: I have caught aplenty, some small, small big. I love to catch fish and of course that's the goal of every trip but to count would be a time waster to me. In reality the only fish that really matters so far this year Is my wife's personal best. Now that Is "ONE" fish I will remember the rest of my life. I know the above sounds a little snotty but I assure you It's not meant In that way. I simply don't care about numbers but In a special few Instances.

  7. In the foothills on NC we normally start night fishing in May. That said, my primary baits are a Zoom 8" big dead ringer. A black 3/8 oz. single colorado spinnerbiat. A R.I. Sweet Beaver in black with red flake. and a 3/8 oz. black and red jig with R.I. black/red flake smallie beaver trailer.
