Either a gar or poorly cooked shad. Teal, chitlins' are the bomb If cooked right. Now If you're around during the cooking process It will make you think twice about eating them.

North Carolina: $15.00 freshwater fish. There's an additional fee for a trout stamp. I will be purchasing a saltwater license($15.00) this year as me and my (almost, April 12th) wife will be making several trips to the coast.

When all else fails I usually throw a Zoom 4" dead ringer either on a shakeyhead or t-rigged. Watermelon, black, or cherry seed.
