  1. Welcome!
  2. The only thing I have bought in the last several years at Walmart are Rebel bait company related baits or ball caps. I buy all my tackle at a local marine and tackle shop. I might pay a little more but those guys will get me anything I want and or need and are good salt of the Earth folks. They get ALL my business except for jigs and shakeyheads.

Ok folks I have outgrown my tackle area and have been thinking about options. The one I really like Is having an entire room for nothing but tackle in the original house on the property. This house was built in 1901 and has no power. The only thing that concerns me Is that It gets hot and humid in the Summer and would like to have any feedback from folks that store their tackle In a similar environment. Thanks!
  13. Hang around the tackle shop, buy a little something everytime you go, and get to know the owner well. There will come a time when they will clue you in to what works on the local waters. They want you to come back and buy so It's been my experience that they are very helpful. In return for there advice/kindness, I am a customer In good standing and buy something everytime I go.
  14. I'm of this opinion; I am at a point in my life where If I want/need it I get it. I rarely buy something because It's the latest and greatest but I do like to collect vintage Rebels for display and buy what I want. As for baits I fish with I will buy what I need and sometimes buy what I don't need. It's not a problem unless you make it a problem. I, like others on this thread, enjoy collecting baits and consider It a part of fishing.
  15. Goodnight Scale, that's awful. Seeing that makes me want to go purchase a Boga Grip.
  16. Welcome!
