Hey everyone im new here from Minnesota this past weekend was mu first time fishing in close to 20 years as it was something special i did eith my dad. After fishing this weekend i remembered how much i loved fishing. Anyways in all my childhood i never bass fished it was always for walleye northern and musky or my dad and i would go to lake michigan on his boat he kept there and troll for salmon and trout. I am wanting to get into bass fishing bit will be limited to fishingfrom shore. Looking for techniques and ejst i need to purchase for a rod tackle and line. I have purchased a Daiwa rg2500ab spinning reel.

Glad to see another Minnesotan here! I'm in Minneapolis currently and do a lot fishing at local lakes.

Nathan where are some good places to fish from shore as i am a non boater. I am joining a bass club but currently only have a spinning setup
