  1. I'd go for White super flukes and/or Drop shotting gulp alive minnows. Thats what I've found most of my fish with. Oh and I fished mostly big bay and the pancake shoals.
  2. Come to new york! Oneida Lake would be perfect!
  3. The pancake shouls should be good using wacky rigged worms. Big Bay shouldn't be too bad with a Super spook. Chris
  4. found this through a local site, It's pretty sweet. Lake Erie
  5. When this event going to be somewhere around buffalo, Oneida would be a good pick!
  6. They will possibly in all stages of spawn. Some smallies still on beds. Largemouth would be in various stages depending on the weather.
  7. Done, but I only got to answer three questions, I must be too young for the full survey.
  8. Thanx MEBAssman, I will deffiently keep that in mind when going all day sunday. I went out today for 2 hours and caught 2 largemouths and 1 smallie. Which I believe is decent for that much time. Thannks again Chris
  9. I hear alot of people saying, use the jerkbait and use the jig, but alot of the time they are on a boat and can see what is down there. If you were just walking the shoreline looking for bass in the 40 degree temp. range what would you. I have only caught around one a day on a jig, but I really think that there are more out there to catch. So what would you do in this situation.
  10. I can now say I have caught one! Got it a couple of hours ago on a booyah boo jig in the Erie Canal. I'll have a pic once my friend figures out how to get pics on to his computer from his phone!
  11. ZERO...........ZIP............NADA! I've been out three times, just on the Erie canal, and have came out with nothing. I've thrown pretty much anything at 'em, even live minnows and worms. I need to get rid of this need to catch fish soon or I'm going to go CRAZY! Chris
  12. I could probably help but I fish it down here in North Tonawanda where the canal opens up into the Niagara River. If you are willing to make it down in these parts I could tell you almost everything you need to know about fishing this section. As far as where you fish it try jigs, I use jigs everywhere no matter what time of the year and hook up with Large and smallmouth.
  13. alright sounds like James A Reed will be the place to go, I have a possible canoe or kayak lined up too. Knowing that jigs are a good prespawn bait, what color would you all suggest, I'm not sure what the water color and quality is there?
  14. Wow, thanks for the reponse everyone! Nice to meet you all as well !
  15. The river is not usually very calm, but is fair. When I'm on a boat I focus on drop shotting a worm, or a gulp alive Black Shad. Tubes and jigs that are BLack/blue, or watermelon are good to have. If you do go decently shallow try a Super spook, fluke, or Spinnerbait. If the river is to nasty to bare the canal is awesome for dock and boat house fishing, almost anything will work in there. Just a "tips" Hope they help Chris P.s. If you are Shore fishing let me know , I am always shore fishing out there.
  16. I don't know exact days and times. It will be between March 4th and march 12th. I'm 16 so I will make sure I buy a license when I arrive. I am from North Tonawanda New york, (about 10 minutes from the Small Boat harbor where the elite series launched in Buffalo). I've been fishing with lures for around 3 years, and I have been involved with many shore fishing derbies, and two Jr. Bassmasters Boat Tournaments.
  17. This is a long shot, but is there any Missouri fisherman on here that can help me out. I will be in Kansas City Missouri near grandview for a week starting on March 4th. I was wondering if any one knew of any shore fishing at lake jacomo around this time. Or possibly even longview lake. Thanks for any help! Chris I would like to fish for bass, but anything that i can fish for will be cool. Other lakes with in say five miles would be cool!
  18. Very cool, that's usually my off season sport!
  19. Any one here from new york, and if so what city. I'm from around Buffalo and I am in the Western New York Junior Bassmasters.
  20. Wow nice fish, i wish we could fish all year round in New York! (WE have to stop the manbearpig, I'm super cereal! lol)
  21. My favorite tube that will always be in my bag is the coffee tube by strike king. Any color will get even the most picky fish to bite, the smell drives the smallies nuts!
