I strongly agree with ya'. Also, if this is a technique you like to use then you should get something that meets the need.

I'm surprised to hear your problems with the Sensation. I switched to that line 2 yrs ago and absolutely love it on my spinning and crankin gear. I attended a seminar nearly 20 yrs ago by a locally respected pro/expert. He recommended 6-8lb for spinning gear, 12-15 for spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and 17lb for wormin' and jiggin' here in Jersey. I have kind of followed that advise and it hasn't been wrong here in Jersey. I do use braid for worms and jigs when I am pitchin' and flippin' though.

Thats my question too- what channel are you catching it on? I can only find the DVDs on eBay........ Also, I've never seen Bass Edge- what channel is it on? I'd like to check it out- Classic Patterns is on FiOS World Fishing Network Bass Edge is on the Outdoor Channel and World Fishing Network. Aaron Martens is the host of Bass Edge. I think it is very informative and realistic. Not every fish is a 6lber (like some shows!). Just my $.02

Hi everyone. I've had the site bookmarked for along time and have read a number of articles. What got me to register was having FiOS installed and watching my first episode of Lunkerville, whcih featured the Low Budget Hooker. I have been addicted to bass fishing for a long time, but don't get to fish enough. Hope to meet some of you out there somewhere

New member here. Charlie seems like a good guy, but the show does seem like an infomercial for all the products - don't forget the gusset jeans! I really find Classic Patterns and Bass Edge to be pretty informative and have them set for recording.
