  1. the suwannee is pretty low right now so i would be careful if you go that route.
  2. last time i was there they were pretty thick around the mouth of Uncle joes, just inside and running north in the reeds.
  3. Ive never heard of one taking a dog from a boat.
  4. We fish down near the state park and the current is pretty strong. Piece of advise, everything up to the High water line is fair play, but please be courteous and dont go above that up into the trees, trespassing is a real problem in this area and the land owners are getting fed up. people go out trash peoples property and do things that should not be done, law enforcement has told us they are cracking down.
  5. Most any worms, Topwater in the morning or at night. squarebills if the grass isnt bad. swimbaits are good also.
  6. Its very hard in Florida to get schools to work with you. I am the Florida Bass Federation Youth Director so im kinda going trough it.
  7. Its very hard to win tournaments any time not just your first year. I have been fishing tournaments like 9 or 10 years and can count on two hands how many wins i have.

  9. There are Scholarships for fishing, but they are few and far between mostly from private schools, I know of about 4 or 5 schools who offer different types of scholarships.
  10. in florida most schools will not endorse the high school teams. You need to talk to Jeff Brooks with the Florida Bass Nation or Mark Genart with the TBF. you need to find an advisor or a parent to advise your club. if you need any other help let me know. I work with some high school teams in SWFL
  11. normally they are sent to some kind of charitable organization, for instance in FL we have a number of groups we work with, a home less group, Financially needy families, a Big Cat Rescue, bird Rescue, ect.
  12. only one of two offer scholarships other wise you pick the school for the school not fishing then join the club or start one.

  21. an Ex Elite Series pro go caught doing it on the St Johns during a weekly tourney he kept winning. Needless to say his rep had gone away and he cant show his face anywhere any more.
