  7. i use a 12lb flouro leader 90% of the time when fishing jigs and worms with braid the other 10% is when im fishing frogs in heavy weeds ill just tie direct

    i like the yum money minnow it comes in several different sizes also the spro BBz1 is a really nice hardbait at a reasonable price
  10. none of those bass look like they would hit the 4lb mark but its hard to tell when you are looking at a picture

  13. never caught a 10+ (i live in NY, but im searching for one haha) but i do alot of night fishing. i cought my share of 5+ pounders night fishing with both black single colorado bladed spinner baits and also a 10 inch power worm
  14. double check your reel adjustments i use a stxl with 30 pound power pro which is 8 pound test diameter and i can cast a weightless fluke with it a decent distance no problem
  15. also check out bps microlite rod. 2 piece...caught a 6 pounds bass on that rod with 4 pound test stren original mono. good rod for the price
  16. would you recommend this reel for a jig and worm setup? i currently own a curado 201e7 and a STXL and fished with these reels no problem wondering if i should stick with these or pick up a fuego at tackle warehouse
