Yea I know it's a dink compared to the adult ones but this one was like a tank. I thought I had a 40+ inch striper.

Wish I could fish for them but they're actually illegal to fish for in Maine cause they're a protected species. and i knew there were sturgeon there cause there's really big ones that jump clear out of the water I'm guessing he was investigating my shad lure when I hooked him/her. was still a fun fight

What would be a good casting rod for plastics, spinners and such

They made fishing with lead illegal here in Maine's freshwater ponds and lakes cause our loon population was dying off cause they were ingesting the weights and dying from poisoning

Have any of you heard much about the new Berkley Lightning shock casting rods? and any idea what types of fishing it's good for?

Thank you all for the responses about the reels I asked about but now I'm looking into a rod for the reel I found this but haven't heard much about them yet so was wondering if any of you have tried the new Berkley Lightning Shock casting rods and what you think of them.
