I've got both and like has been said, they are basically the same except the Skeet has a bigger handle and its yellow and black of course. IMHO, you cant go wrong with either.

It would have to be my dad as well. He worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs to keep a roof over the heads of our family of 6. Still, no matter how busy he was he would always make the time to take me fishing. I remember he would rent aluminum boats from the base, sometimes with motors, sometime we would row and we always caught fish. He has passed on and I sure do miss him. I would give my left arm to take him fishing just one time in my Champion, he would really enjoy it

I figured I'd try and start a thread of nature shots. I'll start. Went fishing the other day, didnt do so well but I did manage to catch some shots of a red tailed hawk. Next?

I personally respool every few trips, especially if I've been fishing cover. Also like others mentioned, I remove maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of my line then put fresh line ontop of the old.

While I dont mind if someone in my boat has a few beers the only thing I drink while on the water is water or Gatorade.

Hook up a lanyard to the kill switch. Carry some basic hand tools and jumper cables. Be aware of your surroundings, especially when under power. There are tons more, I'll post em as I think of them

You're probably right. The reel I'm talking about is at least seven or eight years old. Yeah, there is no comparing the current Black Max to the older ones.
