I see small ponds all the time when I'm driving out in the country that I want to stop and ask if I can fish.

Found a few small Rooster Tails and small grubs in a tree yesterday.

That was a tad bit interesting.

I don't have a set period of time that I will keep one lure on before switching. But, if it has been a while and nothing is biting what I'm throwing, then I will switch.

Well. It has never seemed to happen to me. I have had them get tangled up quite often but I have gotten them untangled before the line broke I guess.

My largest bass was caught on live bait.

I just don't understand why some people do this. They think that by telling you what lure they are using, that you are going to catch every fish in the lake, and leave them with none. Because we all know that they is only five or six nice bass in each lake. :

I think it all has to do with how big of a fish you have caught before. If you haven't caught one that is 5-8 lbs, and then you do then you will probably think that you have caught a monster. At least that is how I remember it the first time I caught a bass over 5 lbs.

Where can I find different "theories" to read up on?

I would love to get my goals organized as much as you do.

I use a 4/0 Gamakatsu EWG and 15lb fluoro on flukes. I just cast out, wait a few sec and begin twitching the bait 4-5 times then pause for a few sec and repeat. How do you have them rigged?
