if Im not catching any bass, I never have a problem catching a buzz 8)

I fish with live bait every now and again when im looking for some fish to eat. usually a droped shot rig with a bull minnow. catch the hell out of white perch in the evenings, usually catch a few bass in the process as well. Ive tried what your saying too, working a jig or a crig, but its too much action on live bait to put the rod down. more of a pain than anything

I dont think fishing a spot spooks the fish that much but I never spend too much time fishing in one spot if Im not catching anything there.

before I started reading this forum I was pretty much set in my ways. pop-rs or spooks in the mornings over weed beds and weightless soft plastics if the topwaters not hitting, then hit off the docks with a trigged baby brushhog later in the day. and sometimes spinnerbaits too. these methods have always been very productive to me, but Ive expanded my techniques and lure selections a ton since joining here and has made it much more enjoyable. not really catching anymore fish than I used to, its just more fun for me to switch up and still catch bass. before this year, I never used a carolina rig or a jig and trailer. Im having lots of fun fishing them. hell I never even heard of a senko. and my newfound favorite way to fish, crankbaits. I never really had confidence in them before. But after reading the articles on here I dedicated a day to just them and did great. its a great feeling when a bass slams into the crank. just gotta find a way to keep the stupid white perch off the crankbaits in the evenings :-/

weightless fin-s fish has always been good to me in thick weeds.

I fish them on any kind of structure and under docks. I fish them very slow, basically just craw them across the bottom. mostly use creature baits(superhogs and yamamoto kreatures) did real well yesterday using a zoom trick worm tho.

trigged superhogs on the docks and in weedbeds, in watermelon candy and white. havent been catching a whole lot of anything the past couple weeks though. well other than a buzz oh and im fishing the rivers on the upper chesapeake

I usually do well with streamers and deer hair poppers. crawfish imitations work good too. grasshoppers have worked well for me too. I usually throw them near the banks under overhanging trees.

I usually do best fishing docks and piers during midday. mostly use texas rigged baby brushogs
