  1. Thanks guys all your posts really help. Now i just gotta get some money for a new reel. Hopefully that will be soon. I can't wait.
  2. I have a Shimano Citica and like it alot. I'm looking to buy another soon and have got mixed reviews about which one is better. I am on a budget so keep that in mind too. Any suggestions would be great.
  3. My neighbor just told me that his dad has a private pond/lake. He said it is fully stocked with just about everything and that there are some big ones just waiting for us. We're hitting up bass pro in the morning and heading there right after. Hopefully I'll post some good news and if I'm lucky a new PB!!!
  4. I am going to be heading to college in a month and need something to carry and protect my rods and reels. I am looking for something that will hold about 4-6 rod/reel combos with the longest one being 7 feet long. Also I need to stay around $50 if at all possible. Any suggestions would be great.
  5. Awesome fish man!!
  6. Awesome fish man. Bring some of those to Kentucky!
  7. I think it might be a flathead cat
  8. Well i'm already back now but don't have any pics. Too busy trying to catch some fish to worry about pictures. But i did have my camera with me just in case I caught a big one.
  9. Nice fish. There's only one thing better then fishing while you work, that is working while you fish.
  10. Nice fish, I wish I had any body of water in my backyard, especially ones that hold awesome bass like that!!
  11. Just to let you know, I did do some fishing, although it was with a charter, but still a lot of fun. Everyone caught quite a few fish called whiteing. I tried fishing from the beach but the tide wouldn't cooperate and everytime I got situated the water would wash all my stuff into the ocean, so I just gave up. But it was still a good time and appreciate the help.
  12. Thanks for the info. I think I am staying in a condo right next to coligny square. I have stayed down there once before and have seen all the gators around there. I don't know if fishin is so important to risk getting bit, at least in the ponds. I am planning on just going to walmart when I get down there and picking up a bigger rod and reel combo for cheap. I have a ugly stick with a abu garcia spinning reel that would probably hold up, as long as I didn't catch anything to big. In Coligny, I know there is a small place where you can buy frozen squid, and I am sure walmart will have something also.
  13. I am heading down to hilton head next week for spring break. I wan to do some fishing, but don't even know where to start. Any tips on shore fishing, deep sea fishing, bait, or anything at all would be great.
  14. I live in louisville and was wanting to know of some nice largemouth lakes or ponds around here. Since I don't have a boat, I am limited to the shore. Any suggestions would be awesome.
  15. Good lookin baits!!
