Kasey Kahne all the way baby.
  2. They did a Memorial Day sale last year so they should do one this year. I don't know of another sale before that one.
  3. I never did like those things...
  4. I predict my biggest will be 7+ and it willl come out of Shearon Harris lake in North Carolina.

Putting different color worms in the same bag with cause the colors to mix with each other (trust me I had it happen to me). Also sometimes if you mix certain brands of worms together like Strike King 3X series they will deform the worms.
  6. WoW thats really weird that a nightcrawler doesn't catch some species of fish. Try a different body of water and see if you have any better results.
  7. Heck, they might want to start looking for a team first. Looking for a QB is getting the cart a little before the horse don't you think? I just LOLed ;D
  8. Grass lines with a Lucky Craft G-Splash in the morning time. Absolutely my favorite type of cover and my favorite way to fish it.
  9. Nice job but I would include a spinnerbait, buzzbait or popper, and a lizard.
  10. I would say between 4-6 lbs.
  11. Yep, they are real productive all real long. One of my favorite Carolina rig baits.
  12. 1. You can use any worm that you want to on a drop-shot. Personally though I use worms that float, I think they appeal to the bass more. But by all means try the same worms that you use for your shaky head, you might be pleasantly surprised. 2. This goes back to the first question, you can use either one and still catch fish, but I have always directly tied to the bait.
  13. Nice collection. BTW, you will like those Netbait BK swimbaits.
  14. I would really think about Mexico. Go there if you can. But if things don't work out for you going to Mexico I would go to Amistad or the California Delta.
  15. Fantastic bait, best toad on the market in my opinion. It destroys the Horney Toad because when you buy a pack of Horney Toads some of the legs are bent (especially if the package is really old and it has been sitting on the shelf awhile) and you don't get a good action out of the ones with bent legs; so right from the get go you are reduced down to like 4-5 baits. Since the Rage toads come in the hard plastic casing this never happens and you've got perfect action everytime.
  16. Strike King Rage Tail Craws, Lobsters, and Chunks. Another one I use is Bass Snacks by Joe S. the chunks he makes are super soft and smell to high heavens. Also his chunks float and that is always an added bonus when fishing a jig. His site is currently down for maintence though. I always try to match the color of my jig trailer to the color of my jig as closely as possible.
  17. Paddle-tail worms give out a good bit of vibration that you don't normally get with ribbon-tail worms. An effective presentation would be to swim the worm right next to a piece of cover (especially grass lines). My favorite rigging is Texas-rigged with about an 1/4 or 3/8 oz. tungsten bullet weight and a 3/0 to 4/0 EWG hook (hook size depending on what size worm you use).
  18. That looks like a nice color. Hope it catches you a lot of bass.
  19. Supposed to get 8" where I am.
  20. I'll jig a 5" Senko around a little bit after I miss a topwater fish.
  21. Ditto. It runs about 3-4ft. They have a new one, Thug, that runs to 6 I think -not square but snag resistant, and a tad pricey for a something you'll be throwing into a tree. I also really like a Bill Dance Excalibur/Bomber that I found at Dick's a few years ago -got two left. But they appear to be gone. BPS XPS(I think) has a square lip that is nice, but is a tad small in my book -at 2". Lesseee... Oh yes! The 1/4oz SpeedTrap -GREAT plug. 2-1/2", runs to 6ft with a big wide square lip. Good plug, although a tad light. Lesseee...OK I looked in my box: Manns Elite C4 -good plug, runs to 4ft. And ...the most snagless of them all.... the Wiggle Wart. They run a bit deeper than the others, to 10ft, but are amazing. By far the most snagproof plug I've used. Almost weird, bury one deep in a milfoil clump and with a firm pull it somehow comes out clean most of the time. X3. These things are amazing, especially in firetiger color.
  22. I saw the same vendor at the Raleigh Fishing Expo about 3 weeks ago. I agree with everybody else that there jigs are a pain to tie, but I do like there jig trailers. BTW, that Chunk-X-Sling thing is a pretty neat idea.
  23. Very good looking jig at an OK price.
