Remember to include Momma, Trains, Prison, and your Pickup Truck! ;D ;D THAT"S WHAT I"M TALKING ABOUT!! Did I finally quote that song enough to make the empression that it's my fav. old country song? BTW.. tonight, a double shot, followed by 7 single shots of jack (through the course of the night) chased with coke made for one relaxed Mikey!

Jack Daniels combinations...
I prefer jack straight... but I do like it mixed with coke, or dr.pepper... right about now, a couple of shots would go d**n well for me. it hasn't been a good day for me, hell I could write a hit country song right now lol

Texas Longhorns 13-0
I always thought that would be the greatest prank ever for the sooners to kidnap Bevo, then invite over the long horns for a cook out, beef ribs, prime rib, steaks etc etc.... only after they eat, tell them its bevo, but then in the end give bevo back *** No Bevo's were harmed in the making of this post*** but seriously, I'll bet Bevo's steaks would be juicy and sweet!

On the twelth game of the season
I didn't see the game, don't know the play, and I am a fan of neither team, but, what I know is, if there is a ball on the ground, if the ball is out, then the players play it AS A FUMBLE, even if blown dead, they're taught to secure the ball no matter what, just in case. so to say they shouldn't have gone after it while blown dead is incorrect, they play till secure. This is why you see so many incomplete passes where they go after the ball still, in the heat of the moment, they're not sure what the circumstances are other than a ball on the ground. so you play through the fumble, and let the refs and replay sort it out.

sooo...
my two favorites are suh, and gerhardt (stanford) I think they are the two most deserving, I think they'll also get the least amount of votes out of all of them. look for colt or tebow, based solely on popularity.

Bowl Games
I hate it, why put boise against TCU, why won't they give TCU some credit and put them against FL and have cincy play BSU... I'm no fan of any of them, but its their way of avoiding the possibility that a team from a non BCS conference just might be better than their beloved favorites. this whole BCS thing blows big time I think my Sooners are in real trouble against stanford

Black Shirts of Nebraska
he should be. but, i ain't betting the house on it. he won't get it, they almost always give it to a RB or QB nowadays, my bet is on ingram, but the guy from stanford has an outside shot in my opinion. texas was super lucky to walk away with that one, even with the one second (how often do you see the clock run for another couple of seconds after an incomplete, and no one says squat about it) the kick was close to slicing off, and only because of the OB kickoff and a stupid horse collar were they even in position to get that kick off. sometimes its better to be lucky, than good. I'm just glad 'bama put a hurtin on Florida, I have to deal with obnoxious gator fans all the time, and it gets so old, so quick.

snow in the desert (what?) pics
couple of years ago, there were a few flurries at my old shop in vero beach, I ran out to try and catch them like a little school kid who had the day off for a snow day... we in Fl just are not used to snow!

plantar fasciitis
Have not, no health insurance... so a doctor and a podiatrist would be awefully tough on the wallet. I'll have to try some of the stretching, and exercises. I've done lots of searching about it on webmd and other sources online, just wanted to hear some personal experiences from others.

Thoughts??
this is why employees should not know what each other makes (I know, everyone knows what everyone makes in reality) first, I'd find out if there is a valid reason for his higher pay rate (more initiative, more experience, more education etc etc), if not (mistaken increase), then I'd look at adjusting everyones salary accordingly (option 2 preferably, but if not, option 3), if there is a good reason for him making the pay he does , I'd leave things as is and explain to everyone the reasons behind this (turn it into a motivation for the other employees to do a better job, which will directly affect their pay) also explain that from this point forward, there is to be no farther discussion on everyones pay. An employees wage is a contract between that employee and the company, and should be strictly confidential. EDIT: change all my his', to hers... didn't realize it was a woman till after I read your last post.

plantar fasciitis
anyone had to deal with this at one time or another? you know the same thing that Eli manning has been dealing with all season. A strained tendon between the toes and heel. I've been dealing with it for a few months now and it really gets annoying. anyone have any tips/ treatments to help it. I've been using a "donut" in the heel of my shoe but that seems aweful uncomfortable and doesn't seem to help much.

IGNORANT hunters.
so, I've been hunting most of the last week (ever day but monday and wednesday) on the wildlife management are Three lakes, in central florida. I found an excellent stand location last year,a nd placed a stand in there earlier on, and this was my first opportunity to get in it. each day I saw game, however never got a opportunity to get any shots off. The area I'm in is right between two cypress heads, not far from a creek, in some palmettos and thick pines. it isn't a big area to hunt, but like I said, plenty of Game around. it also happens to be pretty far back in the woods, and both last year and this year until saturday, I had not even seen another hunter in the area. anyway, Yesterday morning, after sitting in the stand till around 9:30 I gathered my cousin from his stand and we decided to push some areas to see if we could chase up some hogs, after moving to the area we decided to push, we started working through the woods following game and cow trails (there are wild herds of cows that run this land, clearing plenty of paths for game and hunters alike) anyway, we get into some thicker scrub oak, tall palmettos and cypress and we hear movement, so we come around a corner and through the bushes we barely make out two hunters, standing in the thicket NOT WEARING SAFETY ORANGE. This is a requirement in florida for deer hunting, whether on public or private land. as we move by them, I saw they both had high power rifles, and asked what they were after and they said deer!!! this angers me, because it isn't like the were in a stand, or on a main trail, but rather in thick brush. this is just asking for trouble! so, later on in the day, I moved back into my stand about 2pm, as I got into it, there were a couple doe moving around it, I was hopeful if they hung close, they might draw a buck in about an hour after I got in, I hear this aweful commotion coming from the creek bed through the cypress. at first i thought it was the aforementioned cows, but as it moved closer i realized it was even louder than they normally are. as it moved through I finally caught a glimpse of orange and eventually came to realize it was 3 hunters PLOWING through the cypress. finally they come out to the fire break that runs along in front of my stand and i hear the first one say "oh, it opens up out here" - They clearly had NO idea where they were or what they were doing, they ended up going the opposite way of me, but in the process of moving through they completely spooked the doe, and anything else in the area. I didn't see or hear anything else for the rest of the evening. now why on earth would they plow through like that, when there ar eplenty of fire breaks, game trails and natural breaks through this area, and what the heck did they expect to see by plowing through like that??? I hate hunting on public land, and saturday reminded me especially why I hate hunting on the weekends. > sorry for the long rant, but it drives me crazy... I'm heading back out on tuesday and I'm looking forward to there not being nearly the amount of people out there.

Everyday Carry Knives
I've got a gerber AR3.5 tanto blade for daily carry, I've got a shefield razor knife for work purposes, and a gerber freeman for hunting. I like my gerbers, the hunting knife has held up fine cleaning several animals, and for all around basic uses, the AR does fine.

Louisiana fishing - Redfish stole the show this day- they could not resist the H2o crank
redfish may be the best tasting "inshore" fish... I like snook, and I like seatrout, but there is something awesome about redfish. and that final product looks OUTSTANDING. I hope it tasted as good.

Friendly reminder about your tires
X2... I see it at work every day, people don't take care of them and they wear too quick, then complain that they didn't get the right mileage out of them > no need for snow tires, just one more benefit of living in florida 8-)
